Could you get a period and still be pregnant? Me and my bf are planning to have a baby and we had sex exactly when I was ovulating. Now I am getting some light spotting and wondered if it was my period or implantation bleeding, it just started so Im not sure how long it will last.
Plus can I still take a preg. test now to find out if Im pregnant, how accurate will it be?

What is your opinion on this?

I notice that some of the people who hold themselves up as parenting experts aren't actually parents themselves. For example, Gina Ford. There are also some people on Yahoo! Answers who regularly give detailed advice on subjects such as parenting and co-sleeping, but aren't actually parents.

Do you have to be a parent to really understand these issues? Or is it possible to gain expertise through working with children alone?

yes as the subject is telling you how should I encourage my 1½ year old daughter to eat by herself? She has started daycare and the teachers in the daycare won't spoonfeed her or give her food in her mouth. I think thats very good that they don't. It's me who have spoiled her by giving all the food myself rather then letting her try. Now she don't pick anything from her plate to eat. Or she do pick it but it don't go in her mouth..she will just play with it or throw it!
She is in daycare from 8:30 in the morning til 3:30 pm and the only thing she have for the whole day is the breakfast at 7:30 or 8:00 which I feed her:( Then I feed her again when she come home from the daycare!
Please help I feel like a very bad mom! =(

Ok, so I think i have a yeast infection...yuck. Its not my first, I think I get them alot but I don't know what alot is. Anyway, on the box it says;

"Ask a docor before use if you have lower abdominal, back, or shoulder pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomitting, or foul-smelling discharge."


Why does it say that? What are those signs of? I have symptoms of yeast infection (white discharge, itching, and painful sex) & also most of the above symptoms (Bad pain in lower abdomin, SEVERE shoulder pain, back pain, nausea & vomitting almost daily for 2-3 months, foul odor) I would have never thought they were related! Especially since the other symptoms have been going on for a few months & the yeast infection symptoms have only been a week or 2. Whats going on?

I bought OTC Monistat 3 suppositories. I don't have insurance right now but I amworried because I have been trying to get pregnant for years. I haven't had a period since may, tested negative on 3 HPTs. Should I be worried?

I am 35 weeks pregnant. I have heard alot of mothers talking about how their baby reacts to loud noises & the sound of their voice whilst inside the womb. I always feel my baby moving but even when loud noises scare the hell out of me, I feel nothing.

Also do you think babies in the womb can feel people touching my belly? Whenever my partner touches my belly, she will push back in the exact same place.

I am 18 years old, and both my parents told me not to get in a car with a friend i know very well who is 18 and has his license for one year now. They told me not to go to a theme park maybe half an hour away from home because they fear that i will crash and die. when i returned home my mom said i was "lucky" to be alive, and she believes i should get my license now (for credit card usage) but not drive till i'm 20-21.

Also she keeps saying that brains aren't fully developed till the age of 25, and that i won't be driving by myself (without parents) till that age or later. Help me knock some sense into my incredibly worrywart parents before i leave for college because i cannot live life like this.

It has been pouring rain here for 2 days and the kids cannot go outside. I have exhausted all of my resources and am after some new things for them to do. Something not too messy though. They and I are sick of video's as well and I'm not fond of them sitting in front of the box all day.

OK, I don't have any children. However, I do have a nephew (4) and a god daugther(2)

Sometimes, I take them out with my to the park or the beach. This is seperately, not together (the two haven't met, not related)

Anyway, sometimes I feel funny about having my nephew (he's more social then the 2 year old) interact with other children.

The other day we were at the beach. There was a blanket next to use w/ a little boy about 1 or 2 years older. It made me nervous. I know kids are relatively harmless; however, I get nervous b/c I don't know this kids background.

What kind of family is he from? He is going to say something inapproipriate to my nephew (something little kids can't/should not hear) You never know right. Kids do say the darnest things.

I'm talking about, kids coming up to him and saying, " My dad touches me on the pee-pee" or " I watch mom and dad naked w/ their clothes off' (I work as a teacher, so I've had training in child abuse. Abused

my 3 week old son is usally colicy but after a bit of rocking him he will usually fall asleep. yesterday i decided to change his gerber bottles to the playtex that helps for colic by reducing the air in the bottle that causes gas. he usually does a number 2 2-3 times a day.. but today he hasnt at all and hes just passing gas and he cries every time he does so. hes been crying for about 4 hours straight ive tried everything, changing his diaper rocking him feeding him cuddling him gripe water etc. nothing working.. does anyone have any suggestions for the colic.. i wish i could take his pain from him and have it myself.. i just dont know what to do anymore.

Im pregnant with a little girl and me and my husband are going to name her Hanna Rain. But after she is born and we start on one of her siblings i want them to have the same first letter. no rude comments please. anyways, dont ask how i know her... but i always hear her daughter crying at night. the little girl sleeps about 2 hours a night. i always hear her shouting "get off of me"... "i hate you mom"... and just yesturday i heard her mom repeat over and over "did you see my friends d*ck". they live in a garage... and the mom does "business" right in fromt of her daughter. by the way, she also uses her daughter to get welfare benefits is there a way to report her anonymously? yall have to understand that im only 13 my parents arent the type that like to get involved. they would kill me if they found out that i was meddling in other ppl's business. well if i do report her... wat will happen? will ppl know that i was the one who reported it?

i know the doctor said 6wks or so..but has any one done it sooner...i gave birth on july 24, 2007 and i had him natural but my son tore me down there, so they had to give my stitches...

I am due to have a baby girl in 8 weeks! Her first name is FOR SURE Scarlett but i cant think of a middle name! I was hoping for a middle name that started with the letter 'S' and one that is not so common, but i cant find a thing!
