Everyone knows about the "terrible twos", but our daughter was fairly manageable at two and is much more difficult now at three. I've heard the same from some other parents. What was your experience?

I started my period on july 29th and have not stopped. it is light but have had it for three weeks now. i have no insurance but am going to see a doctor tomorrow at 3:30. should I be worried?

I can get her to lay down and she might stay asleep for about 30 minutes at a time....She's in another room with the airconditioning running with a constant noice she is already familar with at night...her pack and play she sleeps in vibrates....but she sleeps good at night....4 hours at a time...so is it ok if she doesnt sleep during the day?

My sister-in-law had a baby 8 months after I did, so I shared with her some of my baby items. Now our boys have outgrown some of the things. She's not planning to have more children, but I am. Is it rude to ask for the baby items back before she sells them at her garage sale this weekend? What should I say?

I am a resident assistant at a local retirement home, and my bosses are being very impatient with the fact that I am pregnant. Occasionally, I'll call in sick to work because of nasty morning sickness. Also, I'll have to have my schedule adjusted for doctor's appointments and such. Now, the bosses are treating my like dirt, cutting my hours back drastically, and putting all of my other co-workers. I always work weekends now, I have the the worst shifts (night and graveyard), and even though I've talked nicely to my bosses about this, nothing is being done. They pretty much ignore my every request and continue to gripe and screw me on my hours and shifts.

What can I do about this!? Thank you!

last night my hand went completly numb.. and no i was not sitting on it and nothing was on it. then is spread to the left side of my face went numb then my tongue went numbe.. all numbness lasted for about 15 min... then the exact thing happened today again except on my right side same exact thing my hand then side of face then tongue went numb and lasted same amount of time.. my breathing if fine when this happened if dosnt seem at all like an oxogen issue for me and defently not cirulation problem.. what could this be sould i go to the hospital.. im also having mild hurtful contractions but they r not every 5 min and go away..

For as long as I can remember I have always wanted to see a baby being born, I am 4 months pregnant and my friend has asked me to be there for the birth of her baby in November (I will be 7 months).
She said she understood if I say no as Im pregnant too. I really want to be there but am not sure how I will react at the time. I want to be useful to her as she does not really have anybody else. But I have a feeling I may panic as I know that not long after that I will be going through the same thing...
Please tell me what you think?

I want my children close together in age (about 10-13 months) because it is what works best for my family right now! It is something that I definitely want, my question to other mothers who have done it is...how did it take a toll on your body. Were the emotions worse, the recovery worse, etc. please let me knwo what your body and mind went through from back to back pregnancies (I don't need any info on how tough it will be to raise two children close in age). Yesterday, my fiance and I went to a few different people's houses to find daycare for our 6 mos old daughter. After going to dinner with one couple we really liked we had one more stop to go before we made our decision. When we got there, the baby was in a diaper that was sagging badly. The house was a mess, the mom had a black eye and looked like she'd been crying. She apologized for her husband not being able to join us, as something came up. Her two year old was under a table and wouldn't come out and say hi, and just had a pull-up on. I saw a lot of beer bottles by the sink in the kitchen and the woman kept saying things would be all cleaned up by the time I dropped my daughter off, but she really needed the job. Her husband was "hounding" her to help out with bills and they couldn't afford daycare for their own kids so she though watching someone else's would be a good idea. We said we hadn't made our decision yet. Today I called her and let her know that unfortunatly we went

I miscarried with twins, and they did the D&C on Tuesday last week, I only have light spotting now. But I still have aches and pains and cramping, plus a major headache
Is this normal, and when can I expect to get my period.

I would also like to join the gym, when is it ok to start excersizing ?and for how long?

During my last pregnancy which ended in a birth at 21 weeks, which doctors called a 2nd trimester miscarriage, I started bleeding at about 12 weeks. The doctors could not find a reason why. Went on bed rest, but nothing helped. Am going to try again, but nervous not know what went wrong last time.

Hey everyone :) well i am still 1 cm dilated since sunday a week ago...they will check me again tomorrow........but my question is......do you have to lose your mucous plug before you can dilate? because i am dilated 1cm! so who knows....i cant tell if i lost it or not just because i have seen stuff for weeks now (regular discharge maybe?) but no blood

My name is Molly and I am 13 years old and this is my schedule during the school week.
(5:15am - 7:15am) go to gym to do gymnastics
(7:45am - 2:15pm) school
(2:45pm - 7:00 pm) back at the gym doing gymnastics
(7:45pm) have dinner
(8:00pm - 10:00pm) homework
(10:15pm - 4:45am) sleep
Is my schedule to much for a 13 year old girl who wants to one day be in the olympics? Please tell me what you think of my schedule during the week? And please ask me any question on how I do thing or something if you have any.

My soon to be 3 year old took a sharpie, no not a regular one, an king size black sharpie and wrote on my white walls and white counter in my bathroom, nothing will take it off, anyone know what will do the trick? he also wrote on my tv but luckily windex took it off. If you are wondering how he was able to do this...he did it in the entire 5 minutes i went to put his baby brother down for a nap!

Tell me If you agree. Why or Why Not. Add Some more to my list.

#1- If you have to write the child's name down and then follow it with a pronunciation, do not name a child this. Example,
Abcde (AHB-SOH-DEE)

#2- Smushing two perfectly good names together does not make it special, witty or perfectly good times two. Example,
Thomas+Anthony= Thomony

#3- Siblings names do not match. Half of their DNA matches, is that not enough? Example, Lily and Violet, Lenny and Benny, Aspen and Forest, James and Jessica are all very unhappy people.

#4- If you call out a name in a public place and you hear snickers or gasps of disbelief, it is not the most brilliant thing to name a child.

#5- If 4 year olds can't pronounce it, its not the kindest thing to name your baby. Example, Lasairfhiona.

#6- If spell check doesnt reconize it, nobody else will either. Example, Kalvery.
