if a parent decides to give up their rights do they have to have the premission of the other parent or do they just need to get a lawyer and go to court? if the father didn't sign the birth certificate and doesn't care whether the child is his or not but would like to give up any rights he may have if the child were his what would he have to do? Does he have to take a DNA test and then give up his rights? It's really a confusing situation I need to find some answers for thanks.

Losing interest...?

My baby LOVES dogs. She says "dog" at least 5 or 6 times a day and we don't even have a dog. So, for her 1st birthday (in about 2 months) its gonna be a Dog Day ;-D. Please don't say she won't remember, because I'd have to beg to differ. I remember my 1st birthday and her Dad has early memories, too.

Besided Clifford the Big Red Dog and real dogs, the pet store, etc., what are some other dog themed things? Ideas?

we are both minors and i am 2 years older than her. I love her soooo much but she took a pregnancy test and it was possitive! her parrents woulnt let me see her after she went to the doctor to confirm it. i want to be with her and the baby! what do i do? i tried to talk to them but they woulnt listen. i cant let her go through this pregnancy and not have the support she need that her parents cant give her. i just was banned from seeing her 30 min. ago . please help me! i really want to see her and be there fo her through the pregnancy and labor . also i want to help her raise the baby

My baby moves all the time for me. I can lay down and watch her move from my stomach and feel it everytime I lay my hands on my tummy. BUT everytime my bf comes to feel, she won't move an inch! Its like she knows he's there and won't move. I'm 21 weeks and I really want him to experience this, because its so wonderful, but everytime he tries she won't move. Any tips??

My two speculations are heat, (because my son has something similar, more like a diaper rash covering his butt, that comes and goes) or that we recently started potty training. So could it possibly be just the sensitive skin in that area being introduced to standard toilet paper (when not at home which is happening a lot lately)? When I put desitin on it tonight after her bath, she said it hurt. Anyone else potty training a girl have a similar issue in the beginning?

i just found out that I'm pregnant, i think around 6 weeks. I'm having some abdominal pain, but it only seems to happen at night it last for maybe ten min. then it's gone and it happen's the next night.

hi i just started TTC this month..today when i went to the bathroom it burned a little bit when i peed and there was a little bit of light pink blood when i wiped..what could this be?? could i be pregnant??

I just had my second miscarriage and I was wondering do I need to go ahead on get back on The Pill to give my body time to recover so it won't accidentally get pregnant again because (I can't believe I am sharing this information with you) I am very fertile. I have to start supplementing formula to my 4 month old son soon. Any suggestions on what would be a good formula to buy. Also, what is the best way to introduce formula to a child who has been strictly breastfed or do babies typically do not have a problem switching back and forth.

Im 18 and Im pregnant. I started having contractions two hours ago so I called my dr and he wanted me to wait at least 3 hours to come in because he was sure that i would be in labor for a while and he wanted me to feel comfortable at home, and im waiting for my boyfriend to get home, but now for some reason i have this urge to push. my boyfriend is almost home but im worried im going to give birth here or in the car IM SCARED! what do i do should i start pushing or resist the urge???

or even the Easter Bunny etc.? Have you read about what the so called " Santa Claus" or Satan Claus (how it was really named) did to little children?? Yes he gave them gifts but were the gifts worth the consiquence???

I'm being induced because the baby is getting too large. I have gestational diabetes and she is already 8lbs 2oz (considering they aren't off by a lb. or 2) and they think she will be too big for my body at my due date. I thought her lungs were fully mature by 37 weeks yet they say they have to do an amniocentesis to be sure. I really dont want one if I dont need one.

well she is going to be 2 weeks old on wednesday, and i was just wondering if it's okay to feed her like every 2 hours instead of every 3? she wakes up crying and when i feed her she sucks it down!
