hi i am ttc after a miscarriage i was just wanting to know if anyone has succesfully conceived within a month after having a m/c and if they used anything to help ther ttc or not thanks.

been ttc for 4 months, period not been heavy at all, in fact it has been very light with no pain. last month I spotted mid cycle, period was due last tuesday and I have had no sign of it. Had all the pms symptoms then everything just seemed to stop. had sex last night and bleed bright blood and thought period was here at last but have had no blood since. I am frustrated and upset, want to know what is going on. have any of you had this and discovered what the cause was?
I am 34, have a four year old, never been on the pill or medication and have had scan to rule out any cysts etc. Am thinking of seeing private gyne again instead of going through NHS and sorting this out asap so I can have my baby.
any ideas/help would be welcome. thank you.

My daughter's usual places can be in the supermarket or on the bus and people look at you like you're a terrible parent and don't have control of your child! Have they never seen a toddler throw a tantrum before?!
Has anyone ever had a child that has Never thrown a tantrum?!

If I had been a boy, my parents were going to call me Ainsley, or Matthew. Random!

They had trouble with the girl names too; it was Chloe, then Lucy, then finally Zoe.

What would you call your little angels?

I'd like to name my children with originality but without causing them grief. There are so many pretty girl names but what do you think would be a good boy's name?

We never found out if we where having a boy or a girl during the pregnancy we just had two names picked out. The middle names where never hard my husband and I both have middle names that have been passed on for 3 generations so we where going to use ours. (mine has now been passed on for 4) So here comes the problem if we have a girl next time what should her middle name be? I want it to have meaning but how do you do that without causing jealousy? Another thing my biological father was a jerk and my mom divorced him after she had my brother and I. I was still a baby when my mom met my dad who has always loved me as if I was his own. I wanted to name one of my kids after someone from his side of the family can I do that where technically they aren't related to me. Like my maiden name I loved it would that be weird if I gave it to my baby when I was born with a different last name? I know there are a lot of questions here baby names are a big deal and they fluster me easily.

Well... I broke up with my bf about three weeks ago and actually he broke my heart and decided to see another woman. Well I found out that i was pregnant and the only one it could actually be is his. I havent had sex with anyone else since him. But I can't figure out how to tell him or if I really want him to know... since he didn't want to be with me or have anything to do with me (my name is banned at his house) i don't know if i want my child around that??? I really don't know what to do and i'm so scared???

I'll try to make it short. Facts are as follows :

*Last period : July 7th

*Unprotected sex (*** inside) : July 20th - Now (give or take a few days recently).

*Light spotting on the 27th of July, lasted 2 days, only when wiped (I thought implantation bleeding??)

*Went to the Emergency Room on the 29th (When spotting stopped) and they did a blood test and it came back negative, no infections, nothing. (But If Implantation had just occured the hormones wouldn't have been strong enough to detect anyways right?)

*Took a HPT on the 6th of August, day before missed period, negative....still too early??

*17th, light spotting, got heavier and darker accompanied by bad cramps (3 times worse than menstral cramps) and back pain - stopped a few hours ago. Blood was very dark, almost burgundy, not normal for me. Blood over this period of time was enough to possibly fill one pad - no clots at all. (possibly miscalculated and am now having implantation?? heavier than normal?)

okay so last week i was in the hospital because i was having contractions, and i ended up 1cm dilated, 50% effaced. they stopped my contractions...3 days later i went home.

last night i started getting really bad menstrual like cramps and a tinnnnnny bit of spotting today. then tonight i started getting contractions every 5-7 mins apart, for at least 4 hours now.

so my question is.........because we a hour away from the hospital and its almost midnight, if i go to the hospital are they just going to stop my contractions again or do you think i'll be more dilated now? my baby is still breech, so if im more dilated will they do a emergency c-section?

My partner and I, well we are not going so well, it's a comittment issue. I've been looking into moving out, and getting my foot on the property ladder, (as I live in his house currently). I've found a lovely flat, it's perfect, and I have had an agreement in principle for the mortgage. I want to go ahead, but I recently came off the pill 5 weeks ago, and I haven't come on yet, there is a chance I could be pregnant. I've done a preg test, and it was negative, but the last time we had sex was Mon 13th. I am not asking if I am pregnant, I am just trying to figure out if it is realistic if I were pregnant to cope on my own and manage mortgage repayments, do you get help with this kind of thing?

I've read a lot of websites and most of them say that you start to feel it towards 16-20 weeks. Somtimes sooner if you're smaller. Now, I'm not a small girl by any means and I am almost positive I feel muscle like spasms in my lower abdomen and towards the right side of my lower belly. Am I the only one to be feeling these "kicks" so soon? By the way, this is my 2nd baby.

I don't need to know the exact amount, what I actually want to know is if we should buy a expensive, fancy one or just a standard normal one, and is a travel system better than just the pram and the car seat seperately? How often did/do you use your stroller, alot of women have told me that they rarely used theirs. I don't want to pay lots of money for something I'm barely ever going to use!

I remember years back lead being recognised as a danger to children and lead paint on toys was banned,lead soldiers that boys used to play with gave way to plastic,lead water pipes were replaced and some of us campaigned sucessfully (and against fierce opposition from many motorists I might add) to have lead removed from petrol.
Now it seems we are importing lead-coated toys from China -

In America it wasn't only toys but even imported toothpaste was found to be contaminated and over here children's clothing is being coated with teflon and other chemicals that can be absorbed through the skin and do harm -

Shouldn't governments *and* parents make sure that the toys,the clothes as well as the food and toothpaste etc. they buy for their children are SAFE above all else and never mind that they are cheap or "non-iron" etc.

Me and my girlfriend have been together for a lil over three years now and have always used a condom. She began her most recent menstral cycle on a sunday, and by saturday morning her period was still ongoing. That saturday, we had unprotected sex for the first time and she is worried that she is pregnant. By saturday night, the bleeding had stopped. She first believed you couldnt get pregnant during you period until reading up on it. I never came inside of her but she is worried that she is pregnant. Her days between starts of her period this last time was 22 days. Anyone have any reason for her to hope shes not pregnant? Did it help that earlier that day i masterbated??? This just happened today. Also to add, in the state i live in she is not of age and i am by 4 months. Knowing her parents they would try and send me to jail, any suggestions?

I am 37 weeks right now and I have GD,i was at the doctors 2weeks ago and I measured 40 weeks, last week I measured 42 weeks.Has anyone ever measured that far ahead before?I do have an ultrasound on Monday to see how big the baby is,at 30 weeks she was 5 and a half pounds.Any insight would be great.I am a little worried that she is going to be over 10 pounds.

I have an 11 year old son who is autistic, but he doesn't look it. What I mean is, he is very talkative, especially about trains, somewhat hyper, very smart in school and gets really good grades. He's starting 5th grade in about 10 days.

My problem with him is discipline. He likes to use my things, (cell phone, TV, computer) especially without permission, and I don't like that. He will ask permission, and more often than not, I will say no, because he doesn't know, or doesn't care, to take care of them, so I say no a lot. On rare occasions, I'll let him use my computer, to play games on it. Suffice it to say, he doesn't like to hear the word "no", and has expressed that to me many times. I like to keep my stuff in working order, but he does not share that sentiment. I have tried banning him from using my things, but he just takes them and hides.

I need to know something that will stop him from taking my things and hiding them from me. Any ideas will be tried. Thank you.
