My son was born Aug 14 and I was just wondering when they do these things. He is so precious and I was just wanting a heads up of when to look out for these things.

i'm 35 weeks pregnant, and last night i was getting horrible cramps, that have continued onto this afternoon. i have been getting some blood tinged cervical mucus as well. should i be worried?

I was hospitalized 2 weeks ago and im kind of worried. my cramps are so bad, it feels like im going to get my period or something.

does this mean im going to lose my mucus plug soon?

I am trying to conceive. I have been trying to determine my LH surge for the past 3 months but cannot find it. I have now started to chart my BBT.

On 05 Aug my temperature rised and have stayed high since.

My questions are:

Did I ovulate and, if yes, why didn't my test sticks pick up my LH surge?

And, is it possible to have a temperature rise and not ovulate?

Please help. I should have had my period a week ago now but my pregancy tests have been negative (on first morning urine) and I am wondering whether I am a "duff".

a week ago and now where she got them theres a bump its not really visible but you can feel it kinda like if you had a bruise w/alump under it but no bruise. she has no fever and isnt acting cranky, just tired..........is this normal???

he's all of a sudden gotten another girlfriend and my daughter is 2 months pregnant with his child, he doesnt want to have anything to do with her but his parents say they will make him be responsible, meeting with his parents in public place this week and i dont know what to say, what questions to ask ? should i file on him or leave it alone, she cant seem to quit calling him. what do i do for her, shes stressed out big time and so am i . i dont know what steps to take i need advice immediatley.

I purchased a used one. The woman I bought from ovulated very late (day 22), so it is set to not start asking for a test stick until later in the cycle. I am on 'day 9' and it still has not asked. This is my first month using it. I would like to 're-set' it without calling the 800 number, as instructed in the booklet.

the comdom broke and as a result i'm pregant i would love more kids (have one son) but my boyfriend doesn't want anymore kids thats why we use comdoms also because the pills make me sick and i couldn't use the iud. i know that he would probly ask me to abort it but i KNOW that i wouldn't do that do i dump him the spring it on him your a father again or i just pray he chages his mind and love this baby as he loves our son..

I run a daycare and I have a little boy in care who I am concerned about. He will be 6 in about 2 months and he will be starting kindergarden in a couple of weeks. Physically he seems to be right on target, height, weight, ability to do physical things other 5-6 year olds can do such as hopping, riding bike, skipping, etc.
It is his social, emotional, and thought development I am concerned about.
Things he can't do yet:
doesn't know address, phone number, etc
doesn't recognize letters and can't say alphabet correctly
counts only to 6 consistantly
confuses colors
no concept of time--this evening, tomorrow, etc
forgets basic things that are repeated daily--how to turn on/off TV, where to put dirty clothes, etc

He gets easily attached to his caregiver. If he's been with mom all weekend, its hard when she drops him off, and hard to get him to go home in the evening. He has an older sister, 11, who is fine.

Anyone with any insight on what could be wrong or how to help him?

I, if you read my profile, am the father of a 9 year old daughter and a 7 year old son. Lately, my son has expressed a confusing desire to be his sister. Let me clarify that. He wants to be like his sister in all regards. For the last few months, he has not played with his cars or trucks, unless it is to expand a Barbie game he is playing with his sister. Also, he wants to grow his hair long, get his ears pierced and wear her clothes. I consider myself to be a very understanding parent, but I have zero idea of how to deal with this. I tried researching this issue online, and a lot of what I found pointed towards allowing him to crossdress and explore his feminine side. I am inclined to do this, but what are the limits I should impose on him? I think if he had his way, he'd wear his sister's clothes 24/7, even to school. So, good Yahoo! Answers people, what should I do?

When I was in foster care, my former foster mom used to tell me as a kid that when there's a situation between an adult & a child, the ADULT is always right. Now that I'm an adult, she & also other people say that the KID is always right because I stoop to the child's level. Well, hmm...when I was a kid, PLENTY of adults used to argue back with me word for word & get on my level. & I was taught as a kid that I should never talk back to or be disrespectful to adults. Now that I'm an adult, there are so many kids who disrespect me.

Also, my foster mom taught me as a kid that when I'm accused of something, I should NEVER say an adult is lying. Now that I'm an adult, kids do bad things & she gives them the OK to say I was lying, when I know I wasn't lying about a situation.

It's like I can NEVER win! I'm never right. I'm always wrong.

ok i started my period on 8/7 and it lasted about 4 -5 days and it was light not bright red blood. and then I stopped for 4 days and started again very light. for 2 days. I also just got off the depo shot. Am I just messed up from the shot? what does implantation bleeding look like? is it bright or like that brown colored blood?

I am on my 11th month ttc. I went to the doctor's last week to have blood tests and an internal ultrasound done to see what the problem might be if any. The results came back that I am not ovulating. I have an appointment to meet with a fertility specialist to talk about it and discuss my options, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has gone through or is going through this and what is being done. Also, I'm just wondering if anybody knows of people who have ended up pregnant after taking a pill to force ovulation and how long it takes. Thank you in advance for any advice and/or input!

while Im at work and lately I have been having more headaches. Im always tired. I am not stressed although about 2 weeks ago I have switched jobs. If I were pregnant I would be about 4-5 weeks. Is it too early to experience these symptoms if I were pregnant?

I am at this point and don't know what to do; i went for preg test on the 8/7 and it was tve, to my suprise i started bleeding the next day, i called my dr. and was told that i was probably implatation bleeding, well guess what i bleed through 8/14 and had 2 blood test already, and my doc said my HCG level on the first was 10 ct while the next one was 12ct, now he asked me to do another one, saying probably it's a "chemical pregnancy" after going through my blood work paper, i noticed a number 633.3 and checking wat it meant on the back page shwed "spontaneous ab/mc"; that told me right there i had a MC again (this is going to be the 3rd one); someone pls help me as am now scared of getting pregnant again and losing it; PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!

he wants to sign over his parental rights to avoid paying child support. I have no experience with signing over parental rights - what does it do? Why would he opt to pay for a lawyer and pay court costs instead of just helping me take care of the our two children (5yo son/ 2yo daughter)? I'm a single mom.

I live in hot and sweltering Central Florida. I've got a six year old daughter,and I have many health problems,one of which is a heart condition and also asthma. I can't be outside when it's 110 degrees outside,but I know this is unfair to my daughter. I do take her out early in the morning,and late in the evening,but it's still in the mid 80's. Does anyone have tips for fun things to do inside? I don't have a pool,we do have a kiddie pool,but it's proving too much for me to clean and set up each weekend. Thanks
