I purchased a used one. The woman I bought from ovulated very late (day 22), so it is set to not start asking for a test stick until later in the cycle. I am on 'day 9' and it still has not asked. This is my first month using it. I would like to 're-set' it without calling the 800 number, as instructed in the booklet.

Read all instructions before trying to re-set the monitor.
You will need an UNUSED test stick.

1. With the monitor OFF, place a clean, unused stick with the cap on(remove plastic cap from one end and snap it onto the oter end of the stick) in the test stick slot on the monitor.
2. Make sure stick snaps into place.
3. Press and hold the M button. Continue holding the M button while turning the monitor ON.
Don't take your finger off the M button til the monitor tells you to!!
4. It will show you the "remove stick" sign--it's a flashing test stick with an arrow pointing right. Jst keep pressing the M button.
5. Keep pressing M button and in about 20 seconds you will see a screen full of symbols. The scren will look as if it is going crazy and will be full of pics.
6. Remove the test stick and then QUICKLY release your finger from the M button. All the memory should be wiped out.
7.Your screen should display a flashing M and one or two dashes. If it does not, it will probably show a 1 and a nonflashing M. If it does, then you ned to repeat the process so it shows a flashing M and dashes.
8.Start using the monitor on Day 1 Per the instructions.
