Me and my girlfriend have been together for a lil over three years now and have always used a condom. She began her most recent menstral cycle on a sunday, and by saturday morning her period was still ongoing. That saturday, we had unprotected sex for the first time and she is worried that she is pregnant. By saturday night, the bleeding had stopped. She first believed you couldnt get pregnant during you period until reading up on it. I never came inside of her but she is worried that she is pregnant. Her days between starts of her period this last time was 22 days. Anyone have any reason for her to hope shes not pregnant? Did it help that earlier that day i masterbated??? This just happened today. Also to add, in the state i live in she is not of age and i am by 4 months. Knowing her parents they would try and send me to jail, any suggestions?

Any time you have unprotected sex there is a chance of getting pregnant. No matter what the time of month although that factor can diminish the chances quite a bit. I would be willing to bet she isn't pregnant but there is only one way to find out and that is to get a pregnancy test.

The underlying issue here for me though is the age you are at and the sex you are having. It seems to me that you are a couple of people that use sex as a recreational activity and to have fun and that is the wrong way to look at things. This should be an eye opener for the both of you. Forget that you aren't old enough by legal standards, you aren't old enough by moral and ethical standards. At your age it doesn't matter how long you have "been together". Sex is something you should control and not something that should have control over you. Learn something by this episode and try abstinence for awhile. Try being intimate without the intercourse. That is where love truly blossoms.

She most likely is not pregnant, although there is a slim chance. There are a few things you can do...
1. You can take the "What's done is done" approach and just let things play out.... or....
2. You can take her to the pharmacy and get her the "Morning After Pill" to be safe.
Most women's periods are 28 days apart from start to start, so her being slightly less than that increases the risk that she could become pregnant during less common time-frames in her cycle. You masturbating has nothing to do with this, but thanks for the info.
As for the legal situation, if you are less than two years apart, there is nothing for you to worry about, especially considering that you have been dating for 3 years and the parents have not stopped the relationship thus far. You have good ground to stand on if her parents start any static.

Could happen, but unlikely because you didnt come inside her. Although it is possible that some pre-ejaculated... Just tell her to chill. I would also tell her to go on the pill as well as you wearing a condom - just to make sure no little accidents happen that you dont want. Better to be safe then sorry! Especialy if her parents are a bit up tight.

chances are she is not pregnant--although it's not totally impossible. chill. if she gets too stressed about it, her period might come late, and then you'll really freak out. as for advice---never have unprotected sex again, regardless of when it is. don't put yourself in the situation you're in now again. it's not worth the worry. and it is not worth the world of hurt you'd be in if she was pregnant.
for the time being, just try to relax cuz chances are she's not pregnant.

she has nothig to worry over, but you need to be careful. Keep using the condoms unless she wants to go on the pill (and really, keep using them anyway).

How much younger is she? If she's over 16 then they really can't persue a statutory case, especally since you have had an ongoing realtionship since before you were over 18.

There is a small chance that she could be pregnant but there is no way of knowing until after her next period is due.

Unfortunately you just have to ride it out!

Next time use your brain before you use your winkie & wear a condom!
