Ok, so I think i have a yeast infection...yuck. Its not my first, I think I get them alot but I don't know what alot is. Anyway, on the box it says;

"Ask a docor before use if you have lower abdominal, back, or shoulder pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomitting, or foul-smelling discharge."

Why does it say that? What are those signs of? I have symptoms of yeast infection (white discharge, itching, and painful sex) & also most of the above symptoms (Bad pain in lower abdomin, SEVERE shoulder pain, back pain, nausea & vomitting almost daily for 2-3 months, foul odor) I would have never thought they were related! Especially since the other symptoms have been going on for a few months & the yeast infection symptoms have only been a week or 2. Whats going on?

I bought OTC Monistat 3 suppositories. I don't have insurance right now but I amworried because I have been trying to get pregnant for years. I haven't had a period since may, tested negative on 3 HPTs. Should I be worried?

I don't think it can be TSS, I never use tampons.

you have a lot going on and you need to see a doctor to get it all straightened out. sorry hon, i know you don't have insurance. is there any way you can get insurance started? what about state aid like medicaid?

some possibilities are bacterial vaginosis (like yeast infection but you treat with anti-biotics), infection caused by STD (sounds a lot like PID-pelvic inflammatory disease), kidney infection, endometritis (uterine infection).

i wonder if there is a women's health clinic in your area. please call your local social work office. they are not the bad guys. they will help you find some way to get the care you need.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Those are the symptoms of Toxic Shock Syndrome - can be caused to forgetting tampons and leaving one in too long.

Whilst you only have yeast infection possibly, I think you ought to see a doctor - you have more symptoms that need explanation.

It's a serious infection if your not getting your period. Have a good private chat with your local chemist. and you really do need to see a doctor.

yes you should be worried. it could be a serious infection. you need to go to the Dr. i understand the insurance thing but you can go to the health department and they will charge you based on your income. we only ever paid like $40. this is really something you need to get checked out.
