When I saw" ILY " i thought you had mispelled it and forgotten to put something in front of it. Don't do it, it sounds and looks weird.

Ily is too short for a first name to me... and Ily is hard to read, especially online when the I's and L's look the same

I am so over names that are spelled correctly but parents insist that they sound differently than they are spelled. This name's correct pronunciation is "ILL (as in sick)-EE."
You have a cute idea but the execution of it is tiring. Your child will always have to say, "it is pronounced, Eye-Lee."

Ummm yeah, I know this girl and her name is Ily, and I thought it was Rylee and I just hadn’t heard right…
And then I hate the name because it’s my boyfriend’s skanky ex-girlfriend’s name.

its ok but maybe use it as a middle name or find a name with those letters in it and just call her or him that. the child might wonder why you didn't give them a name.

If you spell it Ily it looks weird. it looks like ly with 2 L's.
Why not spell it Iley? cuz Ily is ghetto.. and strange.
