I am sorry. I am more fond of preggo. Or PG or with child or pregnant.
I do hate the term knocked up.

For some reason.... I always pause before saying the word pregnant. Like I might be saying a bad word or something. Its not a bad word to me, I think that pregnancy is the most amazing thing that a woman's body can do. I'm just afraid that others will be offended. lol Like in the "old days" when it was bad if an unmarried woman was pregnant.

I completely agree!!! It is so annoying and quite distracting. And I hate "Prego" just as much.... when I was pregnant I would tell people, 'no, I am NOT spaghetti sauce!' hehehe. I think preggers and prego, etc makes it sound cheap and trashy, which is what I think makes it seem offensive. You are not alone in this pet peeve!! :)

I agree... I have just never liked the nick names. Maybe we're stuck up, who knows... because A LOT of people love it. To me, pregnancy is a beautiful thing and making up nick names for it just seems to take away from it.
By the way, "Prego" is a spaghetti sauce! LOL
