Ok this really isn't a question but my pet peeve right now is reading these questions & answers when people use the word "preggers" that word is really getting to me tonight for some reason!

I don't know why it's getting to me I don't mind the other things people say it's just that word!!

I'm 27 weeks so some things are just getting to me here lately

I am sorry. I am more fond of preggo. Or PG or with child or pregnant.

I do hate the term knocked up.

For some reason.... I always pause before saying the word pregnant. Like I might be saying a bad word or something. Its not a bad word to me, I think that pregnancy is the most amazing thing that a woman's body can do. I'm just afraid that others will be offended. lol Like in the "old days" when it was bad if an unmarried woman was pregnant.

I completely agree!!! It is so annoying and quite distracting. And I hate "Prego" just as much.... when I was pregnant I would tell people, 'no, I am NOT spaghetti sauce!' hehehe. I think preggers and prego, etc makes it sound cheap and trashy, which is what I think makes it seem offensive. You are not alone in this pet peeve!! :)

I feel the same way, when I was pregnant I would get annoyed when people would say "Hey Preggers."

I hate while the comparable guy or woman asks me the comparable questions everytime I see them... while are you due, what are you having, do you have any names picked out yet. on occasion i think like screaming at them in case you do not care, which needless to say you do not because you have asked me a dozen circumstances, then WHY do you hold asking me, simply by fact don't sense like your being well mannered, its stressful as hell. I hate while human beings say "How are you feeling because you look poor" Yea I in all likelihood do look poor, yet Im pregnant whats your excuse woman?" and that i hate listening to do not placed on thoes pants arn't they too tight on you, you could desire to placed on those *mom holds up extensive maternity pants* No thank you mom, the checklist suggested my pants are high-quality and that they arn't too tight. and that i additionally hate that persons act like im incapable of doing something simply by fact Im pregnant. My fiance yells at me for lifting a 12 %. or a case of father or a Gallon of milk, Im pregnant, no helpless thank you! EDIT- To the different lady that reported something approximately this, I additionally hate while somebody talks approximately how emotional i are transforming into scince i've got been pregnant. My mom became on the telephone with somebody and that i heard her say "while does not she cry, thats all she does now, won't be able to she administration it" No i won't be able to administration it, thank you very lots!!!!

I agree... I have just never liked the nick names. Maybe we're stuck up, who knows... because A LOT of people love it. To me, pregnancy is a beautiful thing and making up nick names for it just seems to take away from it.

By the way, "Prego" is a spaghetti sauce! LOL

I agree w. the whole nickname for being pregnant thing.....dont people know how to use spell check?? and using "preggers" or "prego".....seems immature.

preggers, preggers, preggers......Im just kidding!!! LOL!!! It's a wierd word though......not my favorite way to refer to the miracle of pregnancy.
