Is it OK to participate in Wakeboarding behind a boat during my two week wait? Wakeboarding is like snowboarding on water. Can a fall off the board shake the "potentially" fertilized egg loose?

I need to maintain an active/normal life during my TWW....so I don't go crazy.

What are your thoughts?

How bad can cramps get int he first trimester if its just the uterus stretching? Everyone has their own definition of "bad". For me, I dont normally get menstrual cramps so any cramps arent good! Im not used to them so in my definition they feel bad. I feel like these are just menstrual cramps and certainly no worse than any I have had in my life associated with a period.

But I've had them for two weeks slightly and the past few days, at 11-14dpo, they're gotten a bit stronger. I guess this would be implantation time if I was preggo. If I am pregnant, how strong can normal cramps get until you start getting worried?

My daughter whom is 15 i believe is pregnant. She confided in me about a month ago about what had happened when her and her boyfriend had sex for the first time. She told me that the condom had tore and they didn't realize it until it was over. She hasn't had a period since May 13, 2007 and she has always been regular. The date that the tore condom incident took place was 5-27. I took her to my ob/gyn and ended up having to see another dr in the office because my usual one was booked for weeks. I explained to the dr. that i had bought and given her 2 urine home tests and they came back negative but after having 4 children myself she was having all of the same symptoms i experienced during my pregnancies. He gave her a blood test which also came up negative (i believe it was the yes/no blood test). She is very skinny and now her stomach is looking very rounded in the tummy area and she still feels pregnant. What are the chances the blood test was wrong, thanks.

I have been trying to conceive for 4 months now with no success. My cylce varies from month to month some months being 29 days other 34-36 days. I got an ovulation kit and it is showing a positive LH surge each month but I am wondering if anyone has has a similar situation and gotten pregnant.

I'm pregnant with my 5th. My husband & I haven't found out the sex of the baby, but we have 2 boys(Preston James and Parker Nicholas) and 2 girls(Audrey Grace & Isabella Sage).
I want a few boy and girl names that go well with our current children's names!

grrrr.. i am babysitting my cousins kids... the 1st grader has a mouth on her.. everytime i say anything to her sisters (ages 2 and 4) she says something to them being a smart *** and she is doing the same thing with my son (age 14 months)

she does the same thing to her parents. they have tryed everything. these kids are little terrors! HELP

ok so when you have sex the sperm shoots up and some of them swim (who make it alive) swim up to the fallopian tubes and if at that point.. an egg and sperm meet.. then there is a chance of the egg fertilized.. and the egg has to go and attach itself to the uterus lining.. and THEN u become pregnant right..?

questions

1) what if the fertilized egg doesnt attach itself? what happens then? is there a name for this?

2) how long can it possibly take for conception of the egg and sperm.. and for the egg to implant itself (implantation)?

3) ok so say that the egg is fertilized.. and now its suppose to implant.. (im not sure if im right but i heard it can take up to 14 days to implant) so does that basically mean that you have up until the first day of your period til implantation can occur? and you have a good chance of being pregnant during that cycle til your period actually starts?

plz someone who knows about these things kindly explain them to me.. thank you so much

I'm wondering if I could be pregnant. on the 21st I started my period, but it seemed like it was too early my last period started on the 27th of last month. My husband and I may have conceived on the 9th or 10th of last month. My period also seemed lighter than normal and it's just about over. I took a test yesterday and it said to pee on the stick for 5 seconds but I dont think I went long enough anyway it was negative. I have been running a slight fever for about a week now and my breast have felt sore and the other day the felt like they were tingling. I dont want to get my hopes up I just really want to know. Do you think I could be still??

I'm sure a lot of people have asked this question. I went to the doctor today for my second ultrasound. I'm about 13 weeks right now. They said they couldn't tell the sex of the baby yet but maybe by my next visit. At my next visit I'll be about 17 1/2 weeks pregnant. How common is it for them to find out the sex at the time during the pregnancy?

I'm having the hardest time figuring out when would be a good time to take a pregnancy test. My cycles are very irregular, anywhere from 21-32 days. I am on CD 18 right now and in the 2WW. I'm 3 DPO. Just wondering when can I test and get a pretty accurate result?

I really like the name Evan for a boy.

Recently I thought, why not for a girl? Though maybe spell it Evyn? But something about the 'vy' doesn't look right. I really like the name though. My boyfriend says just call it Evelyn, but that reminds me of a grandma.

My fiance always comments on how fat she is and how her mom (my cousin) is a horrible mother. It is starting to bother me now that Staci may end up like the rest of her family (obese). Am I out of my mind to bring it up with her? Would she even take me seriously? The give her snacks almost every 1-2 hours, she also eats out once every other day.

OK, i know it sounds mean, but I can not help it. My stepsister makes me SICK. she wines and pouts (she is almost 12 like me)she is always lying about things, like that she is dating this boy or whatever..SHE EVEN STOLE 20 from me once!!She also has an eating problem and will not stop eating.then she puts the wrappers into my drawer and tells my dad its me!!!
And my stepmom will pretty much do anything to get me into trouble and alwways trys to make her daughter better then me. My dad told us we could have cell-phones when we were 13..I come home last monday and guess who has a cell-phone? My stepsister!!Then we go shopping, and my sister has this HORRIBLE tantrum and my stepmom says that she cant hav emoney. TOMORROW we are going to lake of the ozarks just so that my s.s. can got to a freaking outlet mall.

I recently became preganant and if we have a boy my husband and I are leaning toward not circumcising. Being that my husband is circumcised my question was how do you clean an uncircumcised penis. How did you teach your son how to clean his penis? At what age are you supposed to teach them? Did you explain to them the topic of circumcision or have they ever asked why they were diffrent from the other boys? Thanks sorry so long but its a touch subject.

He's such a good boy, our little angel during the day, so obedient, so playful & happy, and he'll even nap twice during the day for 30 min - 2 hrs. in his crib but at night he's a little tyrant, and makes my nights hell. All the advice given in my prior question led to him crying so hard he pukes. It pains me to hear him cry, I monitor him from another room with a tv cam. I feel like a walking zombie in the morning if I stay up trying to get him to sleep in his own crib! I have to work the next day, it's too much for me! It's the same thing every night. I nurse him to sleep in my rocker, I hum lullabies, put him down in his crib with his bunny, & then naps 2 hours later he's screaming his head off, gagging, & then puking! Which leads to having to bathe him, change him, nurse him, & rock him to sleep all over again! After 2 - 3 days I cave in & let him co-sleep in the middle of our California-King bed. I've had a month of trying off & on! How can I win this battle?

I am currently 40 wks and 6 days pregnant...at 37 wks 5 days the baby weighed 8lbs 10 oz on the ultrasound. At 40 wks 2 days the doctor scheduled me to be induced due to the size of the baby and this being my first. C sections also run in the family. None of the women in my family dilate like they should. Ive been at 1 cm for three weeks. I went in to get induced on that day and i had strong contractions for 12 hours. She came in and checked me and i still had no change and didnt dilate still!! She sent me home and scheduled another induction!!! I believe she should have done the c section. Any medical opinions or just opinions? By the time the baby comes shell be fully grown!!

My boyfriend and I plan to marry soon, and my boys are 14 and 17. They have insurance through the state child health plus plan right now. I have full custody of them. By law, their dad is supposed to have them covered, but his employment is spotty, so we can't / don't depend on him to cover them. (I have insurance through the state's family health plus plan.)

my one year old is biting hitting and pulling hair. he is also not listening like he was a few weeks ago. he is trying to stand in carts and in seats where he once sat still like an angel. i have been under alot of stress due to my husband being put into a state hospital 2 weeks ago for depression and trying to killhimself. and losing my job this last week. jay can't see his dad and i see him on the weekends and talk to him. would he be acting out like this lately due to the stress on me and his dad not being home. i don't know how to dicpiline him for this because i have tryed EVERYTHING...... please i am a first time mom under lots of stress and i don't know what to do with my little hunny
