My friends are having twins near Christmas,their first names are
Lance & Lauren,...last name is Cantrell,any help appreciated!Thanks!Oh, and their big sister's Name is Torey Michelle, so those are used....=)

We started with twin boys. I gave them both my middle name so they would both feel equaly important as a part of me.
Then we gave my daughter her mother's middle name.
So now we have four sons with the middle name Paul, a daughter with the middle name Marie and Paul's middle name is David.
And my reeflobster only has one name. Her name is Hannah.

For my kids we liked to have some family connection, so my son has my middle name, the second has my Dad's middle name. For my daughter, we wanted to honor my husbands' great-aunt, but didn't like her name. So we took the first initial of her first name and found a middle name starting with M that we liked. The middle name is also a good place to help resolve who ever was the dominant suggestor or decider of the first names. So I gave my husband full leaway on my daughter's middle name, because he had compromised on the first name. Perhaps in this case the parents could each choose a person from their side of the family to honor and give each other more freedom than is usually given. Just remember the initials... Good luck!
