My current situation:
I came off the pill last month after my bleed. Been TTC for a month. I have calculated my period as if i were on the pill still and i should be due tomorrow.
I am getting my pains and what not like i would come on. However, some said i might miss my period cuz of coming off the pill.

If i can getting period pains, i should come on shouldnt i, as my body is getting ready for my monthly bleed?

Does this mean, if i dont come on that i could be with babba?

My nipples are very sore but the problem is my right breast. I have excruciating shooting pains when feeding. The doctor says it is not thrush. What else can it be. It is putting me off feeding on the right side. I do not want to give up breast feeding at this early stage but it is really hurting me. Any advice.

I am due to have a chest xray tomorrow( thur) my AF is due anytime from Fri-Sun.i am hoping i am pregnant of course!.what concerns me,is it safe to have an xray,knowing i may have concieved??.what if i go have it done,and then find out i am preg.would this put the foetus at risk?. i really need to know,so i can change my appt if necessary. it is just that i work as a care worker,and i had client with TB,which means i need to get checked out..however,this happened in June and so far i am fine.do you think i should ring the hospital and tell them of my concerns?. thanks

sleeping overnight at my parents on saturday night my mum rang and said they could sleep sat night coz the kids have been asking recently so i said ok thinking there was no problem but my partner who goes out on saturday night with his friends and is groggy in the mornings and misses half of it anyway is saying no way and if i say yes (which i already have) he will ring my mum telling her no i know he is just trying to be awkward but he says he likes to spend time with kids on a sunday morning coz they go over my parents every other sunday for a few hours anyway how do i work this out i know hes doing it to be awkward and i know the kids will love it and the pratt just txt me to say if i do it he will leave me (stupid or what) what do i do help

I am now 36 weeks pregnant and my baby started engaging at 34 weeks i am now in a lot of pain and discomfort.. It feels like there is so much pressure and i get sharp pains down there. I also feel as if i am sitting on the babys head sometimes. Is this normal....??? i see my midwife again on Friday.... Is there anything i can do to be more comfy...

Also if my baby has started to engage at 34 weeks when do you think i will go into labour??

My son is two and is moving rooms in the nursery he attends. In actual fact he's moving buildings (only across the road) as the 0-2 year olds are in a different building to the 2-5 year olds. I would like to give a present to all the staff in the 0-2 year old place as they've been great but rather than give individual presents, I would like to give a present which they will appreciate as a group. Any ideas?

How do I stop the madness? Since he's been waking up that early he is clearly tired all day long and has started taking earlier naps that are longer.

If he doesn't have a nap he falls over and goes to sleep on the floor by 3:00pm..not to mention completely melts down.

Bed time is 8:00pm, wierd thing is if I make him go to bed later (9:00pm) or take away his naps it doesn't seem to make a difference, he still wakes up before the sun at 5:00am and insists on going downstairs to play.

Anyone with experience with this? Please help!

I have two cats, there is no litter tray in the house any more, and they have access to the cat flap day and night.

Should I avoid picking the cats up? (which is what I am doing at the moment?) Or is it okay to stroke them? Is it okay to have them go in the bedroom?

My hair is naturally curly - was thinking if I had it permed before the baby was born it would be much easier to mantain, seeing I wont have the time to mess around with it!! Is there any reasons it is not recommended when pregnant?? Surely it is the same as dyeing your hair - which is ok - chemicals dont enter your blood stream therefore it cant enter the baby's!!

HELP! Could i be pregnant???

hello, my doctor put me on a pill called Dianette for my acne. it also acts as a contraceptive and i began taking it on the first day of my period and then every day since at the same time. however when i had 5 pills, on the 6th day i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend who ejaculated inside me. My period was coming very near to its end. i took the pill at the same time again that day, after the sex. this was yesterday. and i am going to take mypill today again.
am i in any danger of pregnancy because i had only taken my pill for 5 days? i have heard that you are supposed to be on the pill for months before (i only heard this after- usefully..) but in the pack it says in the way i started i will have immediate contraceptive protection. please help i am scared there is a possiblity i will be pregnant :(

As a single parent if one of my children gets punished we all suffer. Example, my daughter acted up and I told her we would not go anywhere if her attitude continued. Of course she continued to act up and I heard her make the comment that since there was only one of me that I would have to take everyone anyway or we would all have to stay home .We were to go skating but i turned around and went home like i said we would if she didn't straighten up. My son was very upset at having to miss out on something he wanted to do b/c of his sisters bad behavior. My question is as a single parent how can I not make us all suffer for her actions, and yet let the other kids have some well deserved fun. I cannot afford to leave her with a sitter, she is 9 years of age and he is 8 so I cannot leave him alone at public places for activites. I have no one I can call on for help discipline her of watch her for free (including family) nor friends. How can I solve this problem?
