Pregnancy & Parenting - 24 August 2007

I have a very irregular cycle, so I never have any idea whether I am skipping a period or pregnant, and it's hard to time when I should take the test. Recently, I've had some pinching in my uterus area. That area also feels harder under my skin than anywhere else in my stomach area. My roommate, who had a baby a year ago, told me that she had the same pinching before she found out she was pregnant. Did anyone else experience this?

I pretty much have my 2 yr old daughter potty trained. The only problem is, she still wets the bed at night. Any advice on what I can do to help her with this?

im 15 dpo and ttc and this morning around 6 i saw some blood on the tissue. this is tmi but the first time i wiped it was barley anything(pink) then the second time(right after) was a little bit darker(kinda a darker pink/maybe red) when i urinated i had a TINY bit of irritation/burning. So i went to bed and woke up at 9 and there was nothing..no blood or burning when urinating. what do you think this is? im testing in 4 days to see if im pregnant. and if this happens again im going to the dr. so do you think i have an infection or could this have been implantation? thanks!!!

The first year of his life, he would sleep the whole night in his crib, of course. He couldn't get out, right? Well, we found out he has stage 2 kidney disease so now he gets babied, a lot. Sleeps in our bed, whatever he wants....I don't mind any of it, except the bed part. How do I get him to WANT to sleep in his own bed? I have bought his favorite cartoon sheets, an awesome car bed, night lights, stuffed animals....HELP!?!?!

I was just wodering if anyone had any ideas about a type of shower that I could throw myself...something lik a baby naming party or somehing of that nature. Its not for gifts or anything like that but something I could put pictures in the baby book for memories and all. Thak you in advance.

at 13 dpo, a blood preg test came back negative. A hpt at 13 dpo came negative too. But, bbt charting shows temps going high. No sign of af yet. Should i expect a period or a pregnancy? pls help.

my 4 year old daughter enjoys taking baths or showers with me...we have alot of fun playing in the tub. i know one day she will outgrow it, and it will be considered innappropriate for this to continue. she does take showers and baths by herself, but when i announce that im getting in the shower, she is always right behind me begging to come too. my question is, how much longer should i allow this to go on?

well me and my husband had a miscarriage about 5 months ago and we have been to get pregnant but not sucessed in doing so. this month Aug. me and my husband thought that we had got pregnant because we had sex on the day before and the day of ovulation but when Aug. 22 came around i started so another sad day. but anyways my twin sister just found out that she was pregnant and she told me today Aug. 24 and its been hard for me i have been upset all day how do i cope with this because i am having a hard time beening around here please help me?

I had a D&C last friday. I was suppose to have it a week before, but couldn't do it. Now that I have, I'm pretty nervouse about hurting myself. I'm still bleeding slightly, more like spotting. Is it safe to have sex again if we use a condom? Or could that still cause an infection do to tearing? Thanks for your answers.

I am 39++ weeks pregnant and i just came back from the hospital.I have my contraction on every 5-6 mins and my cervix is around 2cm.Is this the sign I am going in labour or it is normal?The doctor there told me its going to be a few more days.Must I transfer to another hospital as they ask me to go back just now.

I am a mother to 21 month old , and I have been working up until a week ago. My husband and I decided if I stay home with her, instead of having her in daycare that it would be better. I always wanted to to be a stay at home mom. But the thing is that I still think I need to bring in a little extra income on the side. i want to get a subscription to a pregnancy magazine, but i can't find any in stores around here (??) to look at... so i'm not sure which one is good? i want some good info about childbirth also, and i'm all for exercise & would prefer natural (nonmedicated) birth, so i don't want the magazine to ignore that option (i want to know all about epidurals, also, just in case!).

also, do they only do 6 month subscriptions? or at least have stuff about childbirth & babies too?

I have a 7month old son and am now 10weeks pregnate. The pregnacy is totally different, with my son I was stomic sick 24/7 lost 15lbs in my first 3months, had no headackes though and was tired all the time. This time I don't feel sick to my stomic but have horrible headackes and have gained 1lbs. Could this mean that this one is a girl becuase my last was so different and a boy????

I have a 2yr old girl and lately she is so finiky and whiney... I dont know if it's her age or if it's the way girls are.. (I had a boy first, now 6yrs old). She is very independent and wants to choose her clothes, shoes, what to eat, etc. and she is slowly trying to get control of everything...it's very frustrating trying to be the parent here. I have enrolled her to begin preschool in a couple of weeks and Im hoping that maybe she will get some balance thru that and being around kids her age. If things aren't to her liking, she sometimes has fits. Its tough right now trying to raise her and trying to remain the "parent": Any suggestions?
