If you are Mom and not Dad, I don't think it is a big deal.
If you want it to stop, tell her that you want to shower alone.
If you don't care, let her go with you.
She will probably stop herself in the next couple of years.
Plus, look at how much water you save by showering together!

I'm thinking you should stop around this time, or by the time she starts going to school.
you should tell her more often to take showers on her own, and that mommy needs her own time to take a shower now. you could also tell her and show her that she is now old enough and doesnt need your help when takin a shower.
If she does keep on asking to take showers with you, have her take shower before you, then when you take a shower she already took one and probably should be in bed too.

You could always do 'bathing suit' night once in a while to replace the showers together if you feel it's time. I did that with once my kids turned 3 just so we could have fun in the tub still . I would just wear my swimsuit and we'd splash and play to our hearts content. For us it was right around the time we started teaching them the correct names of their bodies parts and about privacy, etc. because they became more aware of themselves.

i have a 4 yr old that does the same thing. but its not inappropriate at all! Its something she will grow out of eventually. But gradually try to stop her from getting in the shower with you. Have your spouse/boyfriend or someone living with you keep an eye on her while your in the shower.

As long as you are both the same gender I would not worry about it, she will want her privacy soon enough, my daughter is 5 and she has started to want her privacy, although I still do not allow her to take a bath alone in the bathroom for safety reasons. I stay on the room with her but do not get on with her anymore.

I feel this is also to be a question asked. I congratulate you first for being open in asking question and save yourself from a sin.
Your daughter will be matured in her 10th age, as the hormones in her grow, which cause her to have some sexual needs. So I advice you not to allow her inside your bathroom , which means that you love her most and teaching her the good and bad in this age. So start teaching her the things and dont allow her, which indirectly means you don't love her.

when she gets 5 then stop the mommy and baby bath and give her a big girl bath but for now it is ok. but u need to start gently enforcing in her that when she turns 5 u will give her a bath by herself as she is a big girl not a big baby.

As long as you are both girls, don't worry about it.
Stop announcing you are taking a shower!

i remember taking showers with my mom until i was about 6. i was kind of scared of the shower and she would show me how to wash my hair without getting the shampoo and conditioner in my eyes. but its totally your call.... whatever works best for your family.
