I had one white & one black partner, became pregnant, not sure who the father is. I delivered a healthy son who looks very white except he was born with dark brown testicles that are turning black. Does this mean the father is black?

You should get a paternity test done. Personally, I wouldn't ask anyone on Y!Answers to help solve something this important and personal.

He's probably black if the testicles look dark. I have 3 children. Black babies tend to be born one color and develop more melanin over time. One of my sons was born with a very light complexion. He is 2 now and a medium brown complexion. You should probably get a DNA test. Don't worry. I'm sure that you're doing the best that you can do. Let God handle the rest.

If you have had two partners then I would get a DNA test done. They have at home ones I think?
Black babies are mostly all white when they come out and get more color as they get older.
But I would make sure for the babies sake so he knows who his father is and for the guys. You don't want to tell the white dad that it is his baby, then 4 months later see teh baby clearly black... that hurts all parties!

okay, this really does sound like some kind of a riddle... and yes, i have to also go with an earlier couple of answers in that black kids (like my niece, and many of my cousins) are are a little more light skinned at birth... you really can't go by color. susan sommers had a black baby because in her lineage, there is one black ancestor... her blond hair blue eyed husband almost divorced her over the baby's appearance at birth, until, of course, they had the paternity test performed to find out the little black baby had two very white parents... anyhow, i have to agree with the other answers who suggested paternity testing to know without a doubt. just hope the boy looks like you if you want to try and conceal the fact that you had two different lovers. ALSO... who would make a better father for the baby? i think that is also and important facet to examine while thinking of who's the baby's daddy. "who's going to do a better job?" well, let that guy have th honors and be honest with him.

Get a paternity test done. That's the only way to know for sure. The baby could still be light skinned if you are light skinned or caucasian. (You don't state your race). A baby boys' testicles may be dark for many reasons, not necessarily because of race.

All black babies are born some few shades lighter than what they wind up with.
Black babies have dark brown/black testicles; white babies don't.
Unless you have some black ancestry in your family somewhere, the father is probably black. Do a blood test to be sure.

Babies DO NOT LOOK BLACK if they have at least one black parent. My biracial daughter is often mistaken as a child I'm babysitting because she simply doesn't look black at all. In the hospital, they wouldn't let me take her from the nursery until a second nurse came and checked my bracelet. So, let's dispel that myth right now.

Now, to know who the child's father is, you have to do a paternity test. You aren't going to be able to figure it out by looking at characteristics. If you know the genetic history of both of the men you were sleeping with you might have a chance at guessing, but your note somehow makes me doubt that you knew that much about either gentlemen. Just schedule a test. Some of the really basic ones can even be picked up at the drug store and mailed in.

When an AA and Caucasian have a baby the baby can look mixed, AA or Caucasian. I've worked in hospitals and seen it all three ways. It is true that AA often look lighter at birth. It may take a few weeks for the "color" to come in.

Black babies are usually born with fair skin and sometimes even blue eyes but when they start getting older their race starts to show. You should probably get a DNA test out of respect for your child.

Even if the father is the black man, the baby could be completely white. You will need to do a dna test to know for sure.

Who knows. You should have a DNA test done. I know someone with a black father who is very pale.
