Two or three weeks before birth. Just killed me. I thought I was going to go virtually stretch mark free. Instead I have worse stretchmarks than anybody else that I know (including a friend who had quads). Grr.

LOL I got screwed. I had three itty bitty ones on the top of the fundus before I went into labor. By the time I had my son the next day I had them lining up and down my tummy and some right above the pubic bone! It's hard to say what will happen. Best thing is stay very hydrated and keep a good lotion on hand for tummy rubs.

You lucky dog you!!! lol I am 26 weeks and just started getting them on my belly. They seemed to have appeared over night. First like 3, then each morning when I wake up there are more! They are like mutants! I'm up to like 12 on my belly now and have only gained 12 pounds.
I also got stretch marks on my thighs and "back side" like very early actually. Before I even got a belly. Like 3-4 months they showed up. From then I know I was doomed!

ahhh, i was 32 weeks and posted the same question. now, at almost 37 weeks ive got quite a few...and ive only gained 20 lbs. its heredity. ask ur mom, i thought i was in the clear since I didnt have any at 34 weeks or so. Well, i asked my mom and she said "yes, i got them, but they did fade to a point wher eyou cant even really see them anymore". im just going to pray they arent TOO obvious. Im actually more OK with them than I thought I would be though.

With my first child I was 7 months and I did not get a lot even though she was almost 10 lbs. With my twins I started getting them at 4 months and my girls were @ 7 lbs each. I think there are a lot of different factors that go in to when and if you get them. Hopefully you don't. Good luck and congratulations.

Getting stretch marks because of pregnancy is supposed to be a hereditary thing. So, if your mom has them you are supposed to get them. But, maybe the ones you had from before will be enough. Mine all occurred overnight. I was at 7 months with my first and all of a sudden I was showing, with an entire map of the US highways system on my tummy! It was awful, nothing ever helped to get rid of them, THANKS MOM! Luckily I didn't get more with each pregnancy, just 2 that got longer.

Wow I'm actually amazed that you don't have any yet since you have had some before. I started getting mine at around 6 months but I didn't have a big tummy during my pregnancy.
