The baby is never in the belly its always in the uterus. It looks like its in the moms belly because the uterus grows up as the baby grows.

ok,women have a uterues and ovaries and a fallopian tube.
when a man and a women have sex and he ejaculates in her the sperm travel into her uterus and through the fallopian tubes to find an egg,if there is an egg the sperm and egg unite and a embryo is formed,as the cells divide the egg and sperm travel down the fallopian tube to the women's uterus and finds a spot to burrow for 9months.after so long the embryo is no longer an embryo but a baby or fetus. and after 9months or 40weeks for some women.she starts contracting and a baby comes out.the embryo is Never in the women's belly if so it would be digested out of the body in a bowel movement...hope i helped.

its never in a belly!!! it travels down the fallopian tubes and implants in the uterus at about 4 weeks (2 weeks gestation)...... at 7 weeks the baby is about the size of a large grape, and developing the major organs still.... although you can already hear a heartbeat with a trans-vaginal ultrasound
