This issue is widely debated. Provera used to be given for low progesterone in pregnancy and even sometimes it was given as a pregnancy test--if you ddin't bleed, you were thought to be pregnant.
Now, there are better methods for detecting pregnancy and other treatments for low progesterone. Some doctors still think Provera is safe in pregnancy but others think it can cause miscarriage if you take it and then suddenly stop. This is because a lot of early miscarriages are caused by a drop in progesterone. When progesterone levels drop suddenly it triggers the uterus to shed its lining--a withdrawl bleed if you aren't pregnant, but may also cause a miscarriage if you are pregnant.
At this point there really is no way to know if you were pregnant or not. Just be careful to take a pregnancy test before starting the Provera and be sure you haven't had unprotected sex for AT LEAST 19 days before starting the Provera.

this is a tricky one because some doctors will endorse this medicine and other will not, i think it also depends on every person and the dosage of the meds that you take, sometimes i've read that Provera is prescribed along with other meds. you should talk to your obgyn or an RE (fertility specialist) to see what they think, and i'm sorry you're going through this, try www.FertilityTies.com and you can ask a doctor there for free.
good luck and hang in there!

If you had a miscarriage, I would think you would know it. I had one when I was younger and it is something that is definitely noticeable. I bled EXTREMELY bad and couldn't barely walk for the pain in my stomach. It was worse than labor of my son. LOL. Anyhow, so I doubt that is the case for you.
