I took a htp last week and it came up positive even though I took it 4 days earlier than my expected period which my period would have been due the 15th. When I woke up on the 15th, sorry if this is too much info, I started bleeding bright red blood and it only lasted for a minute. I went to the hospital where they did a blood pregnancy test and it came up positive. I didn't bleed until the next night and it was the same thing and lasted for a minute. I went to the doctor and they done a test and of course it still showed positive and I quit until I took a nap and it done it again and stopped. They are checking my hormone levels and they said it might be were I was suppose to start on that day it might be normal. Have this happend to anyone else. I haven't seen any clots but I don't know if I am trying to lose the baby or if it is normal. It usually does it after I get up in the morning.

I have heard from friends that the 3rd pregnancy is the hardest. For me this has been very true. I truly feel like this one is trying to kill me. We have even nick named the baby "Stewie"(from Family Guy).
What has been your experience? Did/would you choose to have more after the 3rd?

She has to wake up at 6 am to get ready for school. I also have a 7 yr old and she doesn't need to wake up till 7:30 am. Is there such a thing as too much sleep at there ages? I don't want to put them to bed too early but I want them to do good in school too.

My four year old swears like a soldier. Everytime I ask him to do something he doesn't want, such as picking up his crayons, or telling him no soda, he says "f*ck you", or flips me off. He'll say "Oh my god" when something's not right, call people "*****", and say "****" when he's pissed off, because his mom and her family didn't have a problem with swearing.

It's cute the first time, but out in public people just laugh it off (which is good cause they're not mad), but then he does it more because they're laughing.

I don't yell at him about it, I always talk to him in a decent tone, explaining that I don't want to hear these bad words, but now he knows them it seems unlikely he'll stop. Sometimes I take a toy away, but then he gets mad, which causes other problems (see my other questions)

I need so much help.. :(

My nipples always get tender about 3-5 days before my period is expected. My period was due on Wednesday, and I haven't had any of the sensitivity that I ALWAYS feel before that time of the month. Is this a clue that my period ISN'T coming? I'm hoping to be pregnant, but no, I'm not stressed.

Problem #2.

Every time my 4 year old, who I've just gained custody of, acts out, he throws things, breaks things, throws things again, slams doors, hits, kicks and bites. His mom and her family who he lived with allowed this, and even (as I see it) rewarded him with icecream, candy, chips and soda, Barney, Wiggles and Nintendo because they thought it "shut him up". Now I have him, and everytime he wants one of these, he acts out. And when I say no, he acts out even more. I've stuck to my guns so far, but at this rate, I'm going to have nothing else left to break. He smashed the TV screen the other day.

How do I curb his bad behavior now, when for four years it's been overlooked and rewarded?

I've recently gained custody of my son. He lived with his mom and her family since he was born, and I haven't had much involvment with his upbringing until now.

I have a list of problems I need help with, but as Y! Answers limits the length of questions, I'm going to ask many.

1. My son is four in October, and has been fed a bad diet since he was born of fast-food, fried chicken, ice-cream, soda and candy. He had the chicken, fast food and soda because that's what my ex and her family always ate (they didn't even have a stove at home), and he'd get ice-cream, candy, chips, and soda again when he was bad because it "shut him up".

Now he weighs 102lb, and his teeth are so rotten that two on the bottom fell out this week, and the six on top at the front are brown and have been pushed back up into his gums. Also he's never brushed his teeth.

He refuses to eat anything I give him that isn't the above, but what can I do about his weight and teeth now?

I have an 8 year old daughter who is EXTREMELY shy. It takes several months for her to even warm up to a teacher. And she is so sweet and loving....the first few weeks of school, she'll just sit and watch other kids play. She won't talk to anyone or even try to make new friends. At some point during school she'll warm up to about 2 other little girls but that's it. She has always been this way. I am not and my husband isn't either. She doesn't really talk alot or even loudly at home, not even with her sisters. I am just not sure how to get her to open up and have some fun. I mean, if you were to even talk to her or say hi and she doesn't know you then she doesn't even look at you much less speak. It worries me that she is soooooo introverted. Should I have her see someone???

i'm a college student and i would really like to breastfeed my baby. I will probably only be taking 1-2 classes on campus after my baby is born and doing the others at home. it's not an option to do all at home i wish i could but the selection is very limited. anyways what are some tips so that i can keep breastfeeding my baby. i will probably have 6 weeks off to set up a schedule. the classes will be about an 1 a piece two times a week. will my baby be ok if i am gone for an hour? i plan on pumping but would prefer to breastfed. daddy will be taking care of our little boy while I'm gone. i plan on pumping and leave enough for bottles while I'm gone is this a good idea or should i just take baby with me to class? I really don't want to because he is due in January and it will be too cold outside for him.

i just want your serious opinions on this.. im 20 weeks pregnant, not high rist or anything my job is nothing physical but very stressful, not to mention i hate my job... when i am not at work im fine, happy, healthy and pregnant, but as soon as i get to work the stress makes me so tired and sick to my stomach..like very sick, somedays are worse then others and i break down and can't do my job well, but all days are bad, i have enough time to take my year leave now, but i was planning on waiting till i had a week or so left so i could spend the whole year with my baby, but im not so sure if i can take much more, i dont want to risk getting fired for not being able to do my job (they are not very understanding) anyway what do you think what would you do stay to get all the time and money you could for when you do go on your leave and be sick and miserable all day or go on leave now have less time with your baby and not be sick and miserable???

hello..
ok not for sure or anything but I cant think of what else it could be...an hr ago when i went to use the bathroom and wiped there was blood on the tissue. Kept wiping and thick bloody chunks (sorry) would be on it. I called the doctor but she told me not to go in of course cuz im not having any contractions. Took a shower and when I was cleaning myself there, it was now brown. Not having much pains but some minor ones in my lower back nothing serious tho.

Does this mean that I lost my mucus plug? If so, from anyones experience how far till you went into labor.....

Thanx for your time

Me and my husband have been vegetarians for years. Our son is 7 months, so he could start eating meat, but we can't decide whether it is necessary or not. I read couple of books about baby food, and the thing is that not even doctors seem to be sure if not eating meat can cause some damage for babies development. Any ideas? Do you know anyone whose child never had meat and is healthy? Of course I am going to give him meat if I find out it is necessary, but so far I just don't know.
