I've been on blood pressure medication for ten months now. My OB said that it was okay to take it. Just want to know if anyone else has been in a similar situation.

My daughter is going to a little boy's bday party tomorrow and i dont know him well enough to know what his interests are. I know he likes video games but that is too expensive. What would be a good gift on average for an 11 yr old boy that is under 20 bucks. Thanks

Besides the fact that I am spending half of my day putting him intime out while my daughter is crying for a bottle or in the MIDDLE of drinking a bottle, diaper change, whatever, I've taken away most of his toys and now he's bored and all he does is terrorize us.

YES, I play with him a 3/4 hours a day BUT when I am cooking or doing laundry (yes I have to do those things so we can eat and have clothes to wear, don't tell me to play with him all day) he's jumping on his sister or just bugging her for fun. Then when I tell him no TV, Oh forget about it, he is tearing up the house BIG TIME. Torturing his siter while breaking things, loosening door knobs on cabinets, spilling my water everywhere, etc.

My big question is, when you've taken away ALL of his toys and privelages, what the heck do you do with a 3 yr old!? How are they supposed to get through the day with out terrorizing everyone. YES I PLAY WITH HIM and color with him and play play doh with him (if I haven't taken the

My teenage niece might be babysitting for us soon. I have a 4yr old and a 2yr old. It would be evening to go out and catch a movie....I wil have already gotten the 2yr old to bed....My 4yr old will prolly just sit/lay on the couch and watch TV?movies with my neice. So about how much is reasonable?

I've recently been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. At first my levels were great. I was eating right, exercising. And still am. I walk 30 minutes after each meal and stay active. But the last 2 days my levels have been high. 127, 118, 132. And now this morning after breakfast (and exercise) it is 155! Why are they so high, when before they were in good range?? Ok. So my question is, is a few days of high levels going to harm my baby?

I am 29 weeks pregnant and just curious what exactly a mucus plug is. I have determined that it is lost near the time of labor, but was wondering if I could obtain more specific information? Will I know when I lose mine or will it depend on my situation? Is it a "feeling" or does something actually come out? I know I haven't lost mine or anything, just wanting some more information from those who have had this experience before.

I am going to be having custody over my 13 year old niece and I was wondering what is a suitable cerfew and allowance? She will be doing chores (making the beds, doing laundry cleaning dishes, what the average teen has to do) and she does baby-sit. I have two small girls (8 weeks and 18 months) and she promised to help with them, so that's another chore. I am willing to give her any ammount that is fair.

I am 14. Me and my parents go through some really rough times with eachother. But this time it was huge. My parents both work..and my two little brothers are starting school. Well my mom and dad kept giving me a hard time telling me they didn't know if they could trust me home alone all day from 6am-6pm. I am usually very responsible. I am homeschooled, and I usually go to the high school across the street after it is out of session. Well my mom kept telling me she was gonna make me go to work with her everyday. And it is really upsetting me. So wednesday I snuck out of the house for an hour. It was to the high school to watch football. And then I was up on the phone till' 12:00 am. But I got right off. My mom and dad were really mad about it. So the next day I worked really hard to make up for it. But then my dad came home yelling at me saying i was grounded. And he went up to the high school for my brothers wrestling. I snuck up there also. =[ well I got caught.

i have decided to go to my hospital for only the fact that its down the street from me : ( my pregnancy has been great no problem... today is my edd and i have yet to get checked to see if the baby is ok i have a appt to induce already 23rd. i just think its odd that they would set a appt without checking to see if iam dialated, amnio fluid...ect. the doctor has just been way too imprersonal, today i have a doctor appt. and i want then to check on the baby ultra sound, manualy something. what questions should i be asking my doctor. my first baby and have been doing a lot of reading up on everything. I just want to be on top of everything.

I had a laparoscopy 3 months ago which revealed I had both tubes blocked. Only 1 tube was able to be unblocked. My gyni told me I had a high risk of an ectopic pregnancy. Well, I am now 5 weeks pregnant - yippee - thank you! Anyway, now I have to pass the next barrier - ectopic.

Does anyone know when I should start to feel any symptoms? I am having an ultra sound at 6 weeks to check - but I just thought I'd find out when symptoms occur. I know what the symptoms are, just not sure when I might experience them. And hopefully I dont at all.

My oldest, who is out of the target range, but has to watch it with her 2 younger sisters asked me this. She pointed out the Tyrone is a moose, Tasha is a hippo, Pablo is a penguin, and Austin is a kangroo. She wondered what Uniqua was. My middle child said a bug because of the antennae.
