My oldest, who is out of the target range, but has to watch it with her 2 younger sisters asked me this. She pointed out the Tyrone is a moose, Tasha is a hippo, Pablo is a penguin, and Austin is a kangroo. She wondered what Uniqua was. My middle child said a bug because of the antennae. I told her she could be made up since her name is Uniqua and they were trying to be unique, but I thought I would ask others. There wasn't anything on Nick Jr.

She isn't that's why she's called Uniqua there isn't another one like her she's Unique.
Personally though I think she looks like a bug of some description

Uniqua is a undefined creature. You can find this information in the special features in the DVD "It's great to be a Ghost". However, my 2-year-old boy pointed out she is an ant. So, I said "yes, she is an ant". He is still too young to understand the unique concept. He is just learning animal figures.... Just let them decide what they think Uniqua is. This can even be a good game for them. They can search online or @ the library (with your help) about animals and find out what animal Uniqua may be...

That's an awesome question!! And one that my 3 year-old asked me the other day too. He thinks she's an ant. I thought it was weird all the others are obvious animals, but she isn't. Hmmmmmmm...

i think she is just an "it" like a unique one of a kind item and personality, but i like the bug idea, i also wondered if she was an alien?
