The most accurate way of calculating the dates is not to go from the start of one period to the next. That's how most women have a problem with working out the dates. The correct way is to calculate 21 days from the end of a period, this will bring you to the start of the next one. Calculating from the beginning is misleading as some women have a five day period, some seven and some can even have 10 days. Therefore to try to work out 28 days from the start to the start will only work if you have a seven day period and it is regular. So, assuming you have a long (ten days) period, your period should have ended on the 25th. Add 21 days to the 25th (July had 31 days) and you should be due on the 15th August . You are therefore two days late. For a seven day period, you are five days late and for a five day period, you are exactly one week late as it's the 17th August today.

For a regular 28-30 day cycle, you are just a day or two late, not a big worry yet, since that can be common, but if you don't really know how long your cycle is, you may not be late at all yet.
So, if you have an average cycle, then you are late.. otherwise, I really don't know since I have no idea of your average cycle.. If you are concerned, then you should just take a pregnancy test to ease your mind.
I do suggest you start marking the date you get your period on a calendar or something similar. It can be very helpful so you don't panic for no reason... or so that you know when you concieved if that is the case.

An average cycle is 28 days and the average month is like 30 days so it's okay--in fact mmore logical if you do the math--if you aren't on the same day every month. YOu can do your basal body temperature to find out how long your cycle is....every morning before you get up out of bed, take your temperature and record it....when you see a rise int emp for 2-3 days that's when you are ovulating....you need to do it for like 6 weeks to get an accurate picture of your cycle

Well... if you have a regular 28 day cycle... then yes it is late..however... not many women have the "perfect" cycle. Mine is 34 days... Goodluck!
And start keeping track on the calendar how long your periods last and how many days between.

Normally, women's periods vary anywhere from 25 days to 35 days...in this case, you are at 32 days, so I would say your safe.
