I let my daughter play over at the neighbors house with her kids. She is a single mom and she seemed nice so I was ok with letting her go. My daughter came home today and told me she now has a boyfriend and she seen them frenching on the couch in the living room. There were also several other children from the neighborhood there also. I feel this is not appropriate to do in front of children. I told my daughter she is not allowed to play there since #1. I don't know the male in the household and
#2. If that is going on who knows what else is
Am I wrong for feeling this way or am I just being overly protective?

I am 16 years old, and I started my period at the age of 13. My period used to be very irregular till about 3 months ago it started comming at the same time. I've been sexually active a little and I took a first response test it said I wasn't pregnant. So is it possible that my period will come, or I have just skipped it? PLEASE HELP

I moved to this great neighborhood a year ago. I love my new house and SOME of my neighbors. However, the neighbors right next to us, have adopted 4 foster children. At first it was great, the 2 youngest were right around my sons age. The one kid will actually be in the same class as my son this year. Anyways, the little boy that plays with my son all the time gets really mean spurts. I caught the kid punching my kid in the head one time. (He barely got into trouble). The people that adopted him are in their 60's and only did it because they didn't want to see the kids get split up. They never watch these children, and yesterday the boys were playing with a brand new toy of my sons (not even 24 hours did we have it) and the kid got mad at my son and broke his toy on purpose! The parents didn't even care. They made him say sorry to my son and that was it. I am fed up with them, but what can I do? The boys are best friends and live within 15ft of my house!

i told him that we would not have to worry about buying formula cuz i was gonna breast feed he got all mad and stuff and to me that not child of his will ever breast feed he hurt my feelings with that one.

People have said that its going to be hard to divide the attention to both my boys if Im breastfeeding.My son will be 1 Sept.6th and Im due with my 2nd on Sept.27th. I did breast feed my 1st and I did want to breast feed my 2nd until recently.I feel overwhelmed and sad thinking about how Im going to divide my time equally.Just thinking back on those times breast feeding my 1st It was hard at times trying to raise him and take care of myself by myself.Now to have a very clingy mommas boy and a newborn I dont know if I'll be able to breastfeed and take care of both my boys equally. Breastfeeding takes alot of your time.My husband is also going to be leaving to Iraq between Sept.24-27 for 15 months.I'll be moving in with my family but I just wont have as much help as I would if my husband were here.So do you moms out there think I can do it?? My son is a Momma's boy.

Before I give you the names, let me assure that I AM NOT pregnant. I'm simply planning ahead for when I DO get married, and thus, pregnant. (Lots of people do that, you know. I'm not just some weirdo who spends her free time thinking of baby names.)

When I take my boys a bath every evening, they start playing with their genitalia? Is that okay, or should I discourage it? They only touch themselves, and I've sat down with them through their TV times and monitored what their watching, and nothing seems unordinary! I need real mommies / daddies advice, not children.

Happily married, Im a veteran thinking it would be easy to bring up a boy, now I have to bring up a little girl, and some how not be so strict. I just wanted to play ball, and bond with my boy, Is it possible to do that with a girl, but no so much that she becomes more tom boy than girl like..?

Hi
With your first babies, what was the item you just never needed?

With me it was the changing mat. I changed her on my sofa, dont know why people use them! lol! I never got mess on the sofa, but then again she never peed with her nappy off like some babies always manage!!

Any comments! Might make it useful for new mums to have a list of "NOT ESSENTIAL" items!

I have 2 boys, and thought I was having a girl this time. Well, at my ultrasound today they said it was another boy...NO denying it if you know what I mean...lol. My 4th grader sister and I recently moved to a new school district and she joined the peewee cheerleading squad because she had a lot of fun with it at our old school. The only problem is the coach plays favorites with her own kids and her kids friends. Well since my sister is so new she doesn’t get favored so she is basically ignored at practice and never given the chance to do anything. She isn’t having fun anymore. Is there anything we can do about her new coach or should she just stop doing it because it’s not fun anymore?
