sling....
after a few months, she got heavy, and my shoulders would hurt like crazy. the snuggli, bjorn, and nojo that I had were crappy and I didn't like them... then I saw a lady with a Maya wrap at a Discovery toys party when my daughter was 3 months old... she helped me try hers out and I went home and ordered one online w/in the hour!! after a couple of weeks figuring it out, i got it down, and I rarely held my daughter after that - I wore her instead!! we got the closeness we both wanted (she wanted it more of course) and I got rid of a lot of pain. I felt better about shopping, and being out in general as I didn't like pushing her 2 feet in front of me in a stroller most of the time, and then I figured out how to nurse in it... after that I say it regularly... all I need for a baby is my boobs, some diapers, a carseat, and a sling... everything else is a nice bonus!

Rattles (even if toddlers won't use toys for countless months). the only infant outfits you certainly want are footed pajamas in length new child and 0-3, and you do no longer checklist those. A walker is relatively for a infant over 6 months, as is a procuring cart conceal. A jumper you're waiting to apply at 3 months, yet particularly 4-5. in case you initiate entering into that age team, then you relatively can upload in a bumbo seat. extreme chair is after bumbo seat, they might desire to take a seat down nicely for the extreme chair, so your conversing approximately 6 months. till then solids are extra in all probability given in the newborn seat (bouncer) or the bumbo seat. issues that require sitting up are particularly for after 3 months. The pastime well being club is the 1st toy you'll want, till then that is tummy time. Books for infant are super, yet you are able to in basic terms study a number of your books, or the newspaper even. additionally a digital digital camera and a camcorder.

The glider chair for the baby. It played music, vibrated and would gently glide from side to side. Without it my daughter would not have gotten to sleep until she was 3 months old. A bit pricey at $60 but worth every single penny. I just wish they would have had this when my first child was a baby.

With my first baby, it was the swing, she would sit there all day if I would let her. And now with my second one is now 3 wks old, I would say my Maya wrap, It is such a help when i have to get things done and he wants to be held, also great at the store since i have a 3 yr old as well.

1. a sling- very, very handy for a fussy baby. Also, they love to snuggle up. I have 3: a maya wrap, a New Native Baby, and a BabyHawk Mei Tei. All wonderful!
2. a swing
3. blankie- she loves hers and never goes anyplace without it.
4. Breastpump if you are breastfeeding- I have an Ameda and love it!

A good solid pram, with a car seat preferably, the car seat baby can use to sit it when you are doing your jobs and then if they wont settle pop it on top of the pram section and take baby for a walk....great...cheap ones are nasty and rarely live long but you do not need to go and rob a bank either

i bought a bath sponge to lay my baby on in the bath when she was first born after 3 weeks in the baby bath i was able to lay her in the big bath and i know she's safe as its shaped to fit around her leaving me hands free to grap the shampoo without worrying about her head going in the water it was on £6 from mothercare and it was certainly a bargain my mum said before i had my baby i bet you wont use that we never had those when you were a baby but how wrong she was a complete godsend my little girl loves bathtime now.

With baby no 1 it was a dummy and my microwave steriliser, with baby no 2 it was her bumbo seat and her bedroom bottle fridge/heater.
