I cried when I found out I was having a boy. I was so disappointed. I was so sure I'd have a girl that I'd already been buying things. I got it over it pretty quickly, but I continued to pray that the results were wrong until he was born. Now that he's here, I wouldn't want it any other way. My husband's mother was the only girl out of her 9 cousins. None of her brothers of her had female children. Everyone put all this pressure on me to have a girl (like I could help it). I am getting pressure already to have another one. Everyone loves my son, esspecially me, but I think if I don't have a girl next time, I'll be terribly disappointed.

Personally, i wanted a boy first. I always dreamed of my perfect family being 2 children; the first a boy and the second a girl. That way the girl had an older brother to look up to. Our first child was a boy. Our second child was a boy as well, and i was honestly a little disappointed, but that doesn mean that i dont love him any less.

I'm not pregnant right now but if me and my ex-boyfriend do get back together we're gonna have a baby so I might start begging him for a girl but I know he wanted a son.So I hope that I have a girl first and then me and him can talk about having a boy together when our daughter is 29 months old.But if I do have a boy first I'll buy boy clothes for our son.

I am hoping for a girl first but will love a boy just as much. I think in the begining you always have a prefernce and when you find out that you have the opposite of what you wanted then you a little disappointed. But I believe your feelings and opinions change the day of birth.

i have one of each right now so i would honestly be happy with either BUT ..... my daughter who is 11 says that if we end up having a boy "her life is ruined and she will lock herself in her room until she's 18". She is a bit of a drama queen and has a younger brother that REALLY gets on her nerves sometimes.
I can say this tho, i know how to handle girls better than boys. Sometimes i just dont understand boys and what they do!

We both say we want a boy first then a girl so the older brother can protect the little girl from boys...lol But I secretly want a little girl to dress in all the pink frilly dresses..hahahaha
But now that I think of it if we have the boy first he may bring all his puberty driven friends around his little sister.. OH NO!! now I am confused... hahahahahaha

im not sure anymore, before i was pregnant i wanted a boy cuz in my family there are just girls, so i guess i wanted a boy. but now that im pregnant, i want a girl. i think mayb i just want a girl cuz my husband already has his boy and he wants a girl. but i dont know anymore what i want more, i think i want a girl 2, i think its better for me 2 hav a girl, i think they are easier 2 tak care of and boys hav too much energy and jump around every where. so i guess ill go with a girl. but ill be happy no matter what as long as its healthy

I personally would prefer a boy. But if I was blessed with a child boy or girl, I would be perfectly happy. Any child would truly be a blessing to me
