It totally depends on bone structure. My daughter is tall and thin (not skinny, but not pudgy). She is under 40 lbs, and is probably about 38 inches tall.

It really depends on sooooo much. Genetics, diet, environment. My almost 3 year old is skinny and weighs 28 lbs - but all of my kids are skinny. My 6 y/o weighs around 50 lbs. And my 8 y/o weighs 58lbs. So, by deduction I'd say a 4 y/o should weigh between 30-50 lbs. mine are all boys

average is 40 lbs (thats why the law states 4 years old and 40 lbs) but they can range in weight and height. My son was 38 lbs the day he turned 4, my cousins little boy was 50 lbs and my sisters son was 45 lbs.

My son weighs 34 lbs. I don't know what they should weigh. It's probably dependent on body type.

my kids are all different as long as they are eating good food and playing with out getting winded and your doc says they are healthy i wouldn't worry to much my 6 year old has had times where he looked thin to me and time where he looked a little chunky but he plays out side a lot and gets a lot of exercise so as long as he is doing normal day to day things he should be fine in his weigh
