I have type two diabetes and i take my insulin like im suppose to but when i got pregnant it seems that the baby take all of it from me and i wake up at night sweating and gasping for air and i have to stagger my way to the kitchen to find something sweet to me can someone please help me solve this problem i dont want to harm my unborn child THANKS : )

this happended to my wife as long as it is not dropping to like 40-50 range. But make an appointment and take your sugar readings in he might lower your insulin or in the case of my wife she had to have a bed time snak with at least 15 carbs in it and she kept a ziploc bag by the bed of peaunut butter crakcers and other things becuase you can fall while walking when your sugar is low so she did not have to get out of bed to get her sugar back up

Talk to your doc. one of my best friends is 5 months pregnant and a brittle diabetic. she has an insulin pump and has a much easier time managing things that way.

Yes, it can cause the baby to get hypoglycemic.
