She's 30 odd weeks pregnant and has to be put in the hospital for observation due to dilating sooner than she should be all that jazz. She was wondering because she doesn't want to be there for 24hrs bored off her bum etc. I was wondering if anyone else had done this. I personally don't see anything wrong with it.

My 4 year old will eat anything, rather it taste good or not. Is she lacking in something. She's not hungry and it's not really a habit. She puts anything and everything in her mouth. I can see a small child doing this but she is 4 1/2 now. Yesterday it was dog food AGAIN, also lotion, soap, money, buttons, cat food last week, sand, gravel etc. anything that can go in her mouth does, edable or not

Hi all as some may know i am trying to concieve. Have any of you heard of any herbs other than False Unicorn Root that helps with conception or promotes pregnancy. Please let me know what you think of these herbs too. I am not looking for copy and pasted info off the internet(i can do it myself). A friend of mine has a son the same age as my daughter. He is always hitting and kicking her or finding some other way to hurt her. His mom barely says anything when he does this. My daughter is in tears and he is denying what he has done. I dont feel comfortable yelling at someone elses child. How should I let his mother know that something needs to be done with her son?

My boyfriend and I are about 4 or 5 weeks pregnant and were flat broke if not in debt. We've been living together for about 3 years and recently moved into an apartment and then both lost our jobs because of Michigans Economy.

After goin thru hell we got jobs and caught up on rent somewhat... then I found out I got pregnant. We are young but we didn't do the "unprotected" sex mistake, I needed another docs appt for more BC Pills and couldnt afford to go so we did condoms for 2 months and I guess they aren't too reliable.

So our lease expired and I told my parents and they let us move in here a week ago. I thought we'd be able to pay off our old apt, clear our debts, save up money, get married and then move out by Febuary when the childs born.

Come to find out my dads not comfortable with my bf living here so we are being forced to leave. We threw away my bf car and half of our stuff (couch & bed)

Anyone know of any gov. asst. we can get on in MI??

she yells all the time at me and her brothers and sister, she is flat out mean to them. she corrects everthing i say or disagrees with everything i say. i have grounded her, made her stand in the corner, taken stuff away, what else can i do? help please!! also she listens to her dad and never yells at him or disagrees with him just me and he works all day.i just stopped working a month ago to be a stay home mom. any suggestions will help!!! thanks everyone

My second son is due on the 28th (planned induction) and I'm scared to death! My first son is 15 months, and has been acting strange. He's very clingy and lays on me or hubby all the time. He doesn't want us to leave his site...or put him down. He's Mr. Independance, but suddenly that has changed.

Also, my husband's parents are here from India. I think the change in the house has also got him rattled. And, he's not warming up to them.

He's such a good little guy and I we have a great relationship. I'm also afraid the in laws will be overbearing and try to keep him away from me so I can "concentrate" on the new baby. When, my son needs me the most...

I feel so guilty that he has to go through this. And, want to know what I have in store for me and him during this transition.

My partner and I got a little too carried away while on holiday and ended up having sex just before the last day of my period. Which means i was almost finished anyway, so only spotting was visible. He did ejaculate inside me, but i have been told that fertility is low at this time of the menstruation cycle. I have no reason to think i am pregnant as i have had no symptons as of yet, but the paranoia of pregnancy lurks in my mind. My next period is due by the end of this month, say around the 28th. So although it is still early stages for me, is it possible that i could be or not? I will just have to wait and see and let you all know of my progress.

Recently adopted 1 year old baby girl has hardly eaten ANY food in past 2 weeks, she'll eat 1-2 spoons off mashed banana each day and nothing else, she just pushes away and cries and cries, I never had this problem with other 3 boys (of my own). Any advice?

Ok so I am 32 weeks today...my doctor stopped my labor last tuesday...This morning I woke up with a really bad pain in my stomach...I've had bm's all day and now as I'm sitting here my stomach is feeling nauseated...my back even is starting to get back pain...I'm just worn out today to...plus when I tried to run to get our phone it felt as if the baby was going to fall out...I go to the OB today at 3:45 should I wait or should I call?

My daughter is 8 yrs. old, her father and I are divorced and she worries about us constantly. When she is with me she worries something bad might happen to her dad and vice versa. I have tried to explain to her that kids have kid worries and adults have adult worries but it hasn't helped? does anyone have any suggestions on things that make her not worry so much? When she is not worrying she is a normal happy go lucky kid.

Nothing irks me more than seeing someone who's barely old enough to drink knocked up. I mean, no offense but how exactly are you qualified as a parent at that age? While I do think that some people are never good parents, regardless of age etc, I can't imagine how someone with a crappy, minimum wage job in a dead end town can possibly give a child anything other than love (forget about education and other important considerations, such as health care!), if that!

i would like to start a daycare later on
but i would like to know, what you want from a daycare person, we have stoped taking our two yr old, shes been to 7 different ones!!!! so i know some things that i want to change but i want to hear others.
what would you like to see change in daycares?
do you feel they eat well?
do you feel they learn at daycare?
how do you feel about the timeouts?
do you feel the provider is there for all the children?
