OK, I am not askin if I could be pregnant, I hate that when people ask that. I know anytime you have sex its possible....plus Im a mother already. But I would like to know how long before you can tell if your pregnant. Me and my husband we intimate about 4 nights ago....and we had a slip up. I know now obviously is too soon to tell, but how soon? I was due for my monthly cycle the day we had the slip up and still havent started, but Im sure its too soon to tell. How long should I wait to take a test if I dont start? Any tests tell you sooner than usual? Thanks.

I am in favour of school uniforms for children but I have noticed on some parenting groups (especially in the U.S.A.) some people get very hot under the collar about them.
I wore one,my boys did and now my grandsons do.My only concern these days is the teflon coating and I am trying to persaude my daughter-in-law not to have my grandsons wear such -

I mean proper standardised uniforms not "dress codes" that children can flout.
Dress codes should be set at home by *parents* but for those who won't the schools should be able to set uniform rules and enforce them by sending children home/making them change before attending classes.
I simply cannot believe how irresponsible some parents are and why they would complain about a school setting a sensible uniform in the interests of *all* children -

l just think it's unfair to give a child up for adoption, let someone else raise it and do the hard yards, then expect to come into this child's life as an adult and say "l'm your Mom". l'm not saying the child shouldn't know who the birthparents are, and if they want to seek them out it's a different story, but l feel like it's selfish to give up a child then want them back on your terms. What do others think about this? What about the biological parent 'having a say' in the child's life? Doesn't this completely negate the point of adoption?

I basically take care of him and I'm only 11 years old. I love him to death and I'm very close to him and would never let anything happen to him. The other day out family (my auntie and my cousin) got into a huge fight and saw what had happended along with his 3 year old sister (I take care of her faily also). My cousin and auntie were really mad at each other and started fighting. My auntie is his grandma and my cousin is his uncle. He was yelling and kicking and screaming to get out of my grip cause he wanted to save his mom (which was in the middle of the fight). My older brother had to hold him on the ground. He doesn't have a anger issue but it's his mom I would yell and kick and scream as well. But every since then he has had a very bad attitude problem. He has been getting in fights with kids at the park and stuff. He has been cussing and hitting and kicking other kids his age. I don't know what to do anymore with him cause he is starting to not listen to me anymore and I used..

My boyfriend *&* I were having a hard time and we were on the verge of breaking up. He cheated on me *&* i ended up sleeping with someone close to him.

A couple days ago, out of nowhere, we realized we can't live without each other. He told me what happened with the other girl but i didnt have the heart to tell him about me *&* the guy i cheated with. He'd hate me forever. Everything is great now and i love him more than ever.

We realized yesterday that i was a few days late. I told the guy i cheated with and he said that im going to have an abortion if i am. My boyfriend has been amazing and said whatever happens we'll deal with together. I dont have the heart to have an abortion so what do i do? how do i get rid of him? i regret telling him anything now. Can i tell him i started my period so he'll leave me alone *&* quit telling me what im going to do. I need advice and suggestions.

I know i shouldve cheated. it was the biggest mistake of my life.

This is where if they go in their pants, you leave them in them all day. A girl I know is doing this and we want to know if anyone has heard of it. She says she has researched it, and I can't find it anywhere on search. Not sure if I spelled it right or not. We also think this could be a form of abuse maybe? We are just trying to find it to see if it is real or her idea of potty training. Please help.

We had a stillborn about 6 months ago at 24 weeks. Now we are 5 weeks pregnant and our doc found a polyp on her cervix. Also, the doc found a cyst on one of her ovaries. (apparantly normal?) We are waiting on the Pap results. Will they remove the polyp even though we are having a high risk pregnancy??? What about the cyst, is that really normal???

fights sleep! Has anyone had this problem before?

I have been seeing on here that some 6 month olds put themselves to sleep. That seems to be no where in sight for me! Its a struggle every single night and every nap to get him to go to sleep. Any suggestions would be so helpful!! Would a schedule make a difference?

This is my first time being pregnant. I felt a fluttering in my stomach is it the baby moving or just a nerve jumping? I am only about 6-8 weeks. I dont know if i'd feel the baby moving this early or not.
