We have been ttc and found that my husband has a low count and low mobility. His urologist put him on clomid, has anyone else ever heard of a man being on clomid, if so what were your results?

Here's a website that covers using these drugs in men for specifically these conditions: http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/preconception/fertilityproblems/4090.html. However, there are other things the doctors can do, like inject the sperm into an egg directly or centrifuge the sperm, so you should ask about that.

The husband of a friend of mine was on it for no - low sperm count. He had some medical problems and they were trying to get his sperm count up. If it works or not probably depends on all the circumstances surrounding the condition. It is common for men to be on Clomid.

I havent heard of men being on Clomid, its for ovulation and no way men would need it. If you can , try consulting some other fertility expert and get a second opinion !
