stummer like falling down? (if so-see the Dr) or stammering like stuttering? If you mean stuttering if perfectly normal especially at a time when they are learning so many things and so many words so fast. Ignore it and don't interrupt him. If it persists passed age 3 talk to the Dr at his checkup and they may set up an evaluation for a therapist to see if he needs speech.

that is perfectly normal. once they get to be a little older you will see the speech start to make more sense..lol
right now they are just learning to form words and sentences together. I would ask the dr. what they think (they will prob. say it's normal) and if not better in say a year or so then MAYBE there is a more serious problem, but as of right now everything sounds normal.
also, you shouldn't punish the child....that is still pretty young to be talking at all...I know some kids that sisn't even START until at least 3!

little kids often can develop a stammer until they can talk a little better. give him some time to get over it. if he doesn't stop in 6 months to a year, then see about getting him some speech therapy. the school system can provide it for free. if you're really worried, call the school board office and ask if he can be evaluated.

well, if he talks like you type, there's your problem. He probably just has a fast mind and his body is slow to catch up. If his doctor is unconcerned that he has started stammering then you should also be unconcerned and not harass the child about it. the more attention you draw to the issue, the more pressure he'll feel and will, as a result, probably make matters worse.

First THING! Don't make a big deal about it.
All young children stammer at some point in their lives. You will exacerbate it if you react to it. Let it slide. It may be nothing. It is a normal development in ALL children.
