Picture a grown man named Shiloh. Cute for a boy(well, not really) but defiently not very manly.

I know a guy named Shiloh, hes very nice.I like it for a boy. I dont think of the dog movie i think of that guy and the church i used to go to as a kid, Shiloh Baptist Church.
But i like it for a boy not girl.

I like it as a boy's name. Shiloh for a girl just doesn't sound as good to me. The name Shiloh always looked like a boy's name to me even before Angelina named her girl that.

I love the name Shiloh and think it could go either way easily. I have always liked it and if Angelina and Brad didn't name their daughter that I don't think anyone would have ever imagined being a girls name anyway. Shiloh Evan is adorable.

Shiloh is like one of those Unisexual names like Jessie or Lynn (i know both men and women with those names) however with shiloh i'll always associate it with the dog... But if you like the name... there's no way of me (or anyone else) from stopping you. Unless it's your spouse. then they have a legitimate say in the name.

Shiloh means Peace.
It's also one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War.
You associate it with a dog.
Everyone else thinks of the daughter of Brad and Angelina.
So far, not sure why you'd go with this. How about Geoffrey or Jeffrey - also means Peace. (So does Siegfried - but I wouldn't go that route.)
