I m not sure about anything for living expenses but for the baby you should def. get medicaid! It pays for all your doctor needs! Just keep looking! I hope you can get back on your feet and i will pray that you do! Dont give up though my husband and I were more into drugs and parties and drinking then working or paying bills. So for awhile we didnt have money and hoped from friends to friends then we found out i was preggers and quit partying in a real hurry! lol! We didnt think we would be able to afford a decent place to live much less a baby but it all worked out due to our positive attitude and persistance! Just keeping doing all you can and pray for the generosity of your friends and maybe one day your family! You will get through it! We are much stronger then we think!
Also you are a good person! dont listen to anyone who says your not - you are just in a sticky situation that will prove to you how strong you can be!!

Well. You can get section 8 but it is not that easy. Tell your BF to get a good job or go into the service. You have no other choices that i can see. Can he move back in with his parents? If none of these sound good. Give your child up for adoption and the adopting family may be more than happy to help you in this situation!

where at in michigan are you living? I'm from there, I lived there for most of my young life, and all my family lives there now. my aunt moved there from vegas, has felony charges and 3 kids, (now just had twins) so she has 5 kids, and she's got assistance, and they helped her find a job. she lives in bad axe, if you know where that is. I believe she went to the county offices, and basically told her the situation, and filled out all the nessesary applications. I'm sure that's really all you'd have to do in any state or county, just go to the county office and ask. good luck. give me an email, I might be able to help you out a little more if you give me more details tabaky69@yahoo.com

These are the kind of stories that make me glad our country has social services available to families who ACTUALLY need them. Here you both are trying to be responsible, independant adults and fate just deals you a bad card. The good news is, you have nine months to get yourselves back on your feet.
Contact your local Department of Human Services and apply for the Family Independence Program. This program provides cash assistance to pregnant women to help pay for rent, heat, ultilities, food and personal care items. They will also assist you in finding a job, and provide you with transportation to and from work if you are unable to transport yourself. http://www.michigan.gov/dhs/0,1607,7-124-5453_5526---,00.html
Also, sign up for MOMS (maternity outpatient medical services) which is a temporary prenatal coverage you can use while you wait to see if you are approved for "Healthy Kids for Pregnant Women" which is a medicaid program that will cover your entire prenatal, labor, delivery and post natal medical care.
Here is a link to an employment resource site for michigan. There are quite a few programs in place to assits displaced workers. http://www.michigan.gov/som/0,1607,7-192-29940---,00.html
Good Luck

All states have federally funded programs to help pregnant women with no means of support...they won't help your bf, but you two might be able to get into the housing program or get vouchers for a sheltered apartment for a short time. You might be eligible for cash assistance, food stamps, and medical (sorry, not bf). When you go to apply for those things the caseworker will be able to hook you up to the housing and advise you on other programs that are available.

First off, Michigan has a program called MOMS. This program will help you get the prenatal care you need, and help you apply for Medicaid. Secondly, there is a program called the Family Independence Program which "provides cash assistance to families with children and pregnant women to help them pay for living expenses such as rent, heat, utilities, clothing, food and personal care items."
Check out the links below. They are from Michigan.gov, so you know they are reliable.

Are you under the impression that legal citizens don't do this kind if thing? Obviously they do. Are you under the impression this man thought one day 'gee, I should enter the US illegally and run over some innocent person .' That is utter foolishness. Of course no one wants drunks driving around, regardless of where they came from or their immigration status. There are plenty of illegals that are engaged in criminal activity, but there are exponentially more that go to work, keep their noses to the grindstone and just want to have a decent life.

If you contact WIC (stands for Women, Infants, and Children) you get checks for free food for yourself while you are pregant, and checks for formula/food for the baby once it is born. I used it when I was pregnant, and it is GREAT!!!
You can go to http://www.fns.usda.gov/wic/
I dont know what state you live in, so I cant give you a number, but if you go to this link, it will tell you http://www.fns.usda.gov/wic/Contacts/tollfreenumbers.htm
Also, I have heard of people in your situation joining the military. You automaticly get FULL health coverage. You get as much care as you want, and you dont pay a DIME. But you would have to marry your BF to get those benefits
BEST OF LUCK!! BE STRONG!!
