your dreams show your thoughts and ideas unbriddled. you hide nothing and show everything because you do not have to guard your thoughts from anyone when you are dreaming, so your true feelings run rampid. do not feel guilty for worrying about how your baby will look. in our culture and society today america's media promotes appearance with full throttle and your baby's appearance WILL be important, to him/her and to everyone he/she encounters in life, just because this is the way that it is. your worrying about your child's appearance is just your fear of difficulty your child will have in life. you cannot protect your child from everything as he/she will grow into an individual person in life with experiences of their own, but you can influence them not to pour too much attention into appearance and put more importance into things that are valuable in life, such as intelligence and personality.. faith and heart... compassion and endurance... ect.
no one can tell you what your baby will look like, as a baby, child, teenager or adult.. and each stage will take on different looks. even 4D ultrasounds won't show his/her *exact* appearance... But keep your hopes positive and your outlook happy, there will be no good in stressing over the matter. hopefully you will have the gorgeous child of your dreams [and most children take after their parents, who usually think they look nice any way...].. But love your child regardless and know that looks are not the most important thing in life, even if the media presents them as so.

In actuality, all babies are a bit on the unattractive side at birth with their little squished up faces and pointy heads, but they are still cute. Two amazingly attractive people can have what you might consider to be an ugly baby while two unattractive or average people can produce absolutely stunning children. Its all part of the genetics crapshoot. And a lot of babies that don't start out looking like they should be in the baby ads turn out to be absolutely gorgeous. Sometimes it takes time. I consider myself to be average looking and my husband, who I think is cute, others may consider average. But we have two absolutely gorgeous daughters (and that is not me boasting about it). We just seem to be able to produce incredibly attractive children without trying. Marriage is about love, not looks. Looks fade with time and often the cute girls don't age very well, ditto for their spouses. There is more to consider than will you produce good looking kids. Again, it has to do with genetics and forces you cannot control.

Oh my goodness!! I know exactly how you feel! I have been kinda freaked out since I had a dream a couple weeks ago that my son looked like an alien when he was born and his fingers were stuck together! I am 37 weeks and I have had an ultrasound since then and seen his lil face and hands but there is still that worry in the back of my mind, that it means there is something wrong with him. Everyone sayd it's normal and everyting is okay but, I thought you would llike to hear a story like yours. Hope it helps you feel better!

lol, I think about that all the time, and this is my second child. I know I will think it is beautiful no matter what though... It is funny, because I look back at my son's infant photos, and I think he is a little odd looking (that new baby look) But at the time, I thought he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen! And of course I still think he is the cutest little 2 year old ever! It is very normal though, don't feel guilty about it....

Hi, my name is Parris and I had the same thought in my mind when i reached the sixth month in my pregnancy but the more you think about it stresses you out and that's not a good thing because what you go through the baby goes through so try not to think about it that much. My now eleven month old daughter came into this world beautiful as ever and i did all of that stressing for nothing.

It is prefectly normal and acceptable to have fears that your baby will be ugly. The important thing is to remember is that regardless of what your child look like you will most likely love hom or her regardless. Also, babies looks change during the first few years. Try to relax.

That used to be my biggest fear....I have no idea why. I know to a lot of people it just sounds wrong. But don't worry, your not the only one. I guess we all expect to have picture perfect children in perfect world. When you see your baby for the first time you will think s/he is the most beautiful thing you've ever seen=)
