Probably not daughter, hitting girls is wrong, but a son. I preferably think its imoral because its more like physical abuse to your kid. Also what if they called you some cuss word, I mean when there like 2-3..what to do what to do..

I'm just curious because all of our friends are also expecting boys and since my fiancee works at a resort, he always has time to socialize with everyone who comes in. Pregnant women who have confided in him have all mentioned that they're having a boy, just like us! They're around 20 weeks like me. Thus far, we haven't stumbled upon anyone expecting a girl! I hope this isn't some crazy epidemic or our sons will have a hard time finding a girlfriend!

I am 4 days late. Last night I took a pregnancy test and the results are extremely faint. The control window has a dark blue line. The results window has a medium blue "negative" line and an even lighter "positive" line. It is an EPT tester with the + or - results. I don't have the instructions any more, because I threw them away last month when I used the other test that was in the box.

I will buy another test on the way home today. But thought someone might have had the same results before.

My son is 2 and driving me crazy. I feel like I am getting sowound up in my daughter to come that I am actually getting resentful for my son. Why am I feeling this way? Is it natural? Yesterday my husband and I argued and I was thinking (go to hell and take our son with you). Why would I feel liek this to my son whom I love? I just dont feel like doing stuff we used to do. ANd i feel like I am always droping him off somewhere. I am happy he goes to preschool, or day care at the gym or when my husband spends 1 on 1 time with him..but before this regnancy I always missed him so much when he would be away from me and always includedmyself with him and my husband. I feel guilty and like a bad mom. is it because I am tired and pregnant? I love my son but I ffel a lttle burdened by him, i guess you could say. HELP!!!!!!!
PS I should mention that I struggle with depression/bi polar disorder and currenty I am on low dose meds to control this during pregnancy. It seems to be under control

aRE THERE ANY STEPPARENTS WHO HAVE A PROBLEM LOVING THEIR STEPCHILDREN?I have a 4 year old stepdaughter whos mother abandoned her. We got her two years ago.At the time she was extremely undisciplined. I was pregnant with my 3rd child and she would throw fits and kick me in the stomach, she would hurt my daughter who was 6 months at the time, she would bite and kick, we couln't brush her teeth or wash her hair without her screaming and kicking and hitting us. She would go into the cabinets and eat anything at any moment, wrappers and all, It was like she was raised by wolves- seriously.I've worked with her and shes much better now, we only have problems now and then. The problem is that Ican't seem to love her like I do my own children. Is it because of my first impression of her, or is this normal for a stepmom?I'll be her mommy for life, but I can't establish that inner bond like what came naturally with my own kids. Anyone else been through this? How do I find that bond???

he is much better now than he was 2 years ago, he is a very good sweet boy, but when he makes a mistake or does something he does not suppose to do, my husband gets very ungry; sometimes he tells him he has no brain, and others he starts yelling at me in from of him, like it is my fault. I have a 18 year old girl and a 5 year old boy, they are my life, I work every single day of my live to provide my family with everything; he does not have a good job, and sometimes i put that like an excuse. Once he told me that i do not know how to raise kids, that they will do whatever they want because I do not give them a consecuence; and I do, but not in the way he does; another time he left my son without tv and toys for a week, and if he gets uncover during the night (he has atshma) he draws a big red X on the wall next to his bed, so my son wakes up in the morning and the first thing he does is look at the wall, and if he finds the red X he gets really scared.I think this is to much to handl

A friend of mine has a little girl whos just a few months older then mine, but they are the same size, her baby was premature. She constantly compares her child to mine, if I tell her my little one learnt to roll, her kid does something 100 times better. If I get something for my little girl, shes out buying the same thing. How can I tell her Im sick of her comparing our children, my little girl is totally different from hers, and its not my fault they are the same size, her baby was premature, its expected, my daugther had a few more pounds on her at birth compared to hers.

how do you kindly tell people "its a girl dummy, can't you see all pink shes wearing, her earrings???"
So many people come up to me in the mall and say "oh hes so cute", and its a girl, wrapped in pink clothes, pink blanket, earrings. It drives me nuts. Sometimes I feel so rude to point out to them that its a girl that I won't say anything and walk away, but Im so sick of people calling my daughter a boy, when she clearly looks like a girl. I even had a lady come up to us and say "oh Hes so cute" and she was wearing a dress. How can I kindly tell people shes a girl without sounding rude?

Back in August I was molested in the woods and the rapist is in jail now. I am now 5 months pregnant at 14 and there are several people who want to adopt my son who is still in the womb not born yet.
My older brother and his wife can't have kids and they are intrested in raising. There are people at my church that want the baby. There are 3 adoption agencies that are after it.
I chose not to get an abortion b/c that is like taking life away from an innocent.

Who deserves it more?

So I've no reason to believe I am pregnant, except for the symptoms that I'm having, which I believe are all in my head. I've only had sex with my boyfriend twice since my last period, relying soley on the pill, which i've been on for 9 years. In the past year i've been taking it continuously to prevent my periods due to migraine complications. I went off briefly in teh beginning of December because I'd had surgery that prevented me from taking them, hence my last period. My boyfriend and I broke up 2 weeks ago. This past week, i've had sore breasts, lower back pain, loss of appetite, increased sense of smell and a taste of metal in my mouth, not to mention being tired and emotional. The problem is these symptoms could also be associated with my emotional break up and the fact that I lost my appetite since then. Pregnancy test says no, but it's been 3 weeks since we last had sex. Is it too soon for that to be accurate. Is it possible I'm imagining these symptoms?

My little one is 4 months old, and I always have the tv on regardless if I am watching it or not, I usually have it on children shows for the music. My little one has started to enjoy Barney and Friends, and my fiance doesn't like her watching it. She enjoys the bright colours and the music. We disagree on it totally, I find its an ok cartoon for kids and he said no, what do others feel about barney?

We keep his nails trimmed. But even after we have trimmed them he will pick at them and try to pull off. Which usually leads to him hurting his fingers.

My niece spends alot of time with me and my daughter who's 7mo. every day in fact for around 10 + hours a day since my daughter was born. well lately when we'er at the store, i get questions about the baby alot and of course unknowing people ask my niece (she's four) if she's my daughters big sister, she says yes. and ocasionally has taken to calling me mommy (i think it is because i always refer to myself as mama to my daughter) and started calling my daughter her sister (she's an only child) well her parents got divorced around when my daughter was a new born, and her mother moved away a couple months ago about 300 miles away, they still talk and she still loves her mother of course, i wouldn't think to replace her mother, but i tell her Onora (my daughter) can be her sister if she wants her to be, and i don't really say anything when she calls me mommy. am i handling this right? I know she's in alot of pain, i don't want to add too it.
