EPT SUCKS! I tested the same way with EPT and got an obvious positive with another test the same exact day and I have a six year old son, so I say EPT is a waste. First Response gave me a positive result not more than 10 days after I got pregnant, I was trying, so I'm quite certain of that timeline. I actually busted open the test and held the results strip up to the light and it was so faint I couldn't tell if it was positive or if I was just seeing the chemicals imbedded in the test paper. Re-test!

Hi
I don't want to get your hopes up but the same thing happened to me. We were trying but I really didn't feel like I was pregnant, so I took one for grins anyway. The first one had a real faint line but to me if the line appeared at all I felt that was sure enough. I went and bought 2 more tests and took both of those. I bought one that gives you in words, pregnant or not pregnant. Be careful with that one because I got a see pamphlet result (LOL). I didn't know that was an option but apparently I had to go too bad and over saturated it. Good luck and definitely get another test to help your results be more conclusive!

It is very hard to tell.. especially since we are not there to see the results with you. It may be that you are just ot producing enough hormones yet to give you a easy to read positive.. on the other hand it could be that there is nothing there where you see as faint line.. if you REALLY want to be pregnant your mind could be playing tricks.
Best advice wait a day or two and try another test.. if you WANT to be pregnant I sincerely hope you are and that you have the happiest and heatlhiest of pregnancies. If you DO NOT want to be.. wsell then I obviously will pary that you get what you truly want..

more than likely you ARE pregnant. I can't say I've ever heard of a test showing up pos. and turning out you're not.. no matter how faint the line is. now i have heard of a test showing up neg and end up being preg. My second baby the pos line was very faint almost not even there. could be you're just really early in pregnancy and there's not a strong hormone level yet try again in a few days. hope the best for you :}

I did get the same kind of test and got a faint line the first time I took it. wait until tomorrow morning when your hcg levels are the highest and do another test with your first urination of the day. That's what I did after getting the faint line, and I was pregnant. I heard before that there aren't and false positives with those tests, just false negatives.

Same thing happened to me! Congrats you are pregnant. I bought a test and I had a clear blue line. Then you could barely tell that there was a second line. But It was confirmed when I called the company that does mean yes. I went to the doctors and guess what? I am now 30 weeks pregnant. Did I mention my name is Amy B as well? Weird eh?

I had a very faint positive on a similar test and miscarried when I was 8 weeks along.
It was no big deal because I felt like something was wrong from the start. Just a weird feeling.

I've gotten a faint line once or twice and I was always pregnant. Usually any line in the positive box means 'Yes'. I don't blame you for testing again as that is what I did :-)
Best of luck!!!

The same thing happened to me- my husband and I were so confused. We were like "what does it mean... maybe???" I went online to the website for that brand of pregnancy test and it said even the faintest line means positive. I still wasn't convinced so I ended up taking 2 more tests, which I would suggest doing.

I had faint lines twice and I was pregnant both times. Do a test first thing in the morning, you will be able to tell better first thing in the morning
