Just curious on anyone that has any good ideas on earning extra money for the house or just spending money while they are a stay at home mom, excluding all the scams and babysitting. Thanks. :)

I am a stay at home mom. I tried the Body Shop at Home and wasn't into it- my sister-in-law, however loves it and is doing very well. I am now starting a photography business.

I personally fell for many scams and lost a lot of money, especially in program promising easy money from simple task, such as home typing, data entry and etc. Until recently, one of my friend show me a very good matrix system called "Our Power Forced Matrix" (OPFM). Thus, I joined the program and found out myself that it's real and legal. Actually OPFM is a group of people working hard together as a team to build a strong matrix, we all shared an uninformed dream, that's why we help each other to achieve our goal. Of course it's not free, I don't believe one can earn money without hard work or some investment. But the nicer part of the matrix is its due is only $7 per month(Almost everyone can afford a $7 matrix), and it requires only 2 paid members on your first level(you can either pay for them or let them pay by themselves) to cover your dues. Because I think this program is very good for a beginner who want to start his/her home based business, therefore, I share it here. And I'm willing to pay for those who is serious.

The company is legal, it's inspected by U.S. Attorney for compliance with U.S.regulation.

If you are a reliable and teachable person who really want to start a home based business, I can pay your way in the matrix. But, this offer only availabe to those who are really serious.

There are several things you can do.
Do you have computer or administrative skills?
You can be an anministrative subcontractor for a small business or a professional. Medical billing, etc.
Ebay has opportunities as does Google.
Depending on what you "like" to do, you can really set up any business from your home, it just depends on how much you need to be involved with a little one around. My best advice is to set hours, I work from 1-4pm for a home appraiser, setting his appts, and entering his reports. I answer phones (transfer his office number to mine) and follow up for him with billing as well. It's not a ton of money, but it keeps me involved in my career, and also, gives me something of my own as well, while not taking time away from my responsibilities.

Check into being a Medical Transcriber via the internet. In some cases, everything is supplied, including the computer. I checked into this a few years ago, but headed into a different direction instead. Good luck!!!

a friend of mine started to help a mutual friend make hand made cards whilst she was a stay at home mum. they would be sold at craft fair and local markets and in the local post office. she developed a real interest in this and now she has it as a hobby all of her own - she has even had the garage converted so it is her 'area'. she doesn't sell them herself but the mutual friend buys them from her for about £1.50 each card and sells them at the markets etc...
hope this help.

If you need to earn extra money, then maybe you should get out and get a job and find a good babysitter or if it's not the money, create a website and charge ppl for using it.
