She went to daycare once this week and that night she told me that the daycare providers son had touched her vagina, I took her to the doctor the next morning, and called the daycare house to tell them we would not be coming back because she had accused her son of inappropriately touching her, and that in her doctors professional opinion something did happen. Her story has been consistent throughout. The daycare is insisting we pay for the week even though we were only there for one day and her son allegedly hurt our daughter. I am of the opinion that it was two kids the same age experimenting, but regardless i am not bringing her back, there was obviously a lack of supervision going on. They are angry at me for taking her to the doctor as they are now going to be reported to the state. I am having a hard time being angry at all due to the fact that it was a child, and who knows who even instigated the situation. I don;t know how to make her back off.....

I know that the internal ultrasound provides a more detailed picture. However, are they both equally sensitise when it comes to detecting pregnancy?

Okay my period ended on the 6th of November. Me and my partner are trying to have a baby again (miscarried in Aug, d&c Sept 7). The day my period ended we had unprotected sex (ofcourse) which was the Nov 6th. We had sex the 6th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 14th. I did some calculations and I was supposed to ovulated either the 15th or the 16th. I've had a sharp pain in my left side this week which I did some research on and found out that could be the pain some women can feel when they ovulate. I know I wont be able to find out if I'm pregnant until next week and I have a doctor appointment on the 27th but I was just wanting to ask what do you think my chances are?

My husband and I have only one child and although we love her dearly, we are thinking we may not want anymore. We both work full time jobs and I feel guilty enough leaving her in daycare for 50 hours a week. I am concerned that she will "miss out" somehow if she doesnt have a sibling to share her life with.
Are there any single children that can answer on how if felt to NOT have a sibling? Anyone that has a single child household? any advice at all?

My daughter is four days old. At times, she'll eat 1/2 oz. of formula, fall asleep, then wake up thirty minutes later and want more. Other times, she'll eat 2 oz, then sleep for three hours. Is it normal that she eats so sporadically?

I am pregnant right now. They are thinking I am due in the middle of Feb. One thing I have been thinking about even though I know I have some time to go yet is when my baby boy is going to ask me about his father. I loved his father and I was going to marry him. Unfortunately he started to get abusive towards me and he wouldn't get help like I asked him. So I couldn't stay. I asked the father if he wanted anything to do with his child and he told me it wasn't his. Anyone have any idea's of how to tell a child this?

My son is a year old already but it seems like ever since he was born my daughter (who is almost 3)has been calling me by my first name and acting as if she doesn't know how to do things that she wouldn't want help doing before my son was born. Why do you think she has taken a few steps back developmentally and how can I get her to stop referring to me by my first name? It doesnt make sence that she would be jealous of her brother either, she has had no decrease in love and attention since before he was born to now.

I am a nanny for 2 little girls. The 8 yr old doesn't take confrontation well at all. When I try to explain what her bad behavior is, she shuts down and gets all worked up over a single incident to where I can't even talk to her. She can't seem to hear me when I explain how her behavior is harmful. She only sees the one incident and thinks there is nothing wrong with it. There is no reasoning with her. Her mom told me her dad used to yell at her and that's when she started doing this. Any ideas on how to work through this??

I'm 38 , had my tubes tied june 05.
My period was 2 weeks late --LMP was 9/30. I started spotting on Sunday am and by Weds it was gone.
Went to the doctor yesterday , their pg test was negative. He thinks it could have been a miscarriage, and that my tubes are open again. They did a blood test but today My boobs still feel heavy and are aching again. I am still waiting for the results but i know they are going to be negative since the urine tests were too.
Anyone have any advice on where i can look this stuff up ?
I have 3 other children so its not like pregnancy is a mystery to me but this all is new and SO confusing!!
Any advice at all would be appreciated.

Hey, I need your help and advice. I started my third pack of Yasmin on Monday last week (nov. 6). On Thursday I forgot to take a pill and I never took the dosis for that day. On Friday I took my dosis, just one pill, but after two hours I vomited because I ate something that made me feel bad. The next day I took my normal dosis and I have been taking them as usual.
My concern is that I never took thursday dosis, and I don't know if by vomiting on friday my body didn't get that dosis either. In that case I would have totally missed two pills in week one in a row, and never took the dosis for those missed pills.
I have had sex on those days and I still have it without using a condom and my husband does ejaculate on me. Should I be worried?!

My cousin had a baby boy recently, and I will be seeing the new baby next week. I would like to take a nice gift, but can't figure what to buy.

1. My cousin is going to relocate to a different country shortly, and so it wouldn't make sense to buy stuff that they will find had to carry with them.
2. I would like to get something "nice"; something precious and valuable; that would be remembered even later.
3. Budget is not much of an issue.

i read some where that you can get pregnant a week or 2 before your next period. Well i already had my period on october 23 for 6 days.... two weeks later i started spotting. The week after i was spotting i had unprotected sex. what are the chances i can get pregnant from this?

I had bloodwork done and doctor has ordered a pelvic ultrasound (appointment tonight!) to make sure everything is okay. I had problems with ovarian cysts and dysplasia when I was in my early 20's. After that I became pregnant but lost the baby at 6 weeks. I'm 31 now and really want a baby. Did anyone else have these problems and have a baby? I have not had any problems in years and pap tests come up good. I also started using the Clearblue Easy Fertility monitor and there's a chance I ovulate earlier then I thought which means I could have been trying AFTER I had already ovulated. The monitor showed high fertility today (day 9) and I expect ovulation within a few days. I have a 26 day cycle that's pretty consistent. Any advice would be appeciated!
