Yes! It's very normal. It took my daughter 2 months to fall in to a routine when it came to eating. She's now 16 months old and still a sporadic eatter. Just enjoy your time with your new little girl! You'll look back and laugh at this some day. Babies are very tiny and helpless but they know when they need to eat.

It is very normal, for some babies. Just like us, each baby is diffrent. My cousin and I had our babies with in 3 months of each other. I was breastfeeding my daughter and supplementing with formula, she would suckle on my breast for about an hour and then take about 3 oz. of formula in less than an hour and then she would not eat for a while and only take one ounce when she decided to nurse again. On the other hand, my cousins daughter was taking 5oz!! when she was born and would eat every 2 hours or so.
Also, I think it depends on the size of the baby, to consider how much fat and nutrition your baby will need.
Congrats and Good Luck
May God Bless you ALL!!!

Totally normal. Dependin gon your baby's birth weight and general health - they say that a baby should be fed ever 2 hours but no longer that 4 hours between meals until a feeding habit has been established.
Good Luck and Congratulations!

ye svery normal. Your baby is growing. Try feeding her 3 oz of formula and see if she needs more. Shes getting on a schedule. Growing bodies need food. So she is perfectly normal and have fun with your little angel.

talk to your midwive on next visit.
it should all settle down soon, you have to remember she is only 4 days old.

yes. my son is four months old. he still does things like that occasionally. he'll yell for his food, drink only a little bit and then fall fast asleep for about thirty minutes and then finish the rest of his bottle.
