Hey, I need your help and advice. I started my third pack of Yasmin on Monday last week (nov. 6). On Thursday I forgot to take a pill and I never took the dosis for that day. On Friday I took my dosis, just one pill, but after two hours I vomited because I ate something that made me feel bad. The next day I took my normal dosis and I have been taking them as usual.
My concern is that I never took thursday dosis, and I don't know if by vomiting on friday my body didn't get that dosis either. In that case I would have totally missed two pills in week one in a row, and never took the dosis for those missed pills.
I have had sex on those days and I still have it without using a condom and my husband does ejaculate on me. Should I be worried?!

Do you think is too early for me to take a pregnancy test? This happened exactly one week ago.

yes, you are supossed to take them every day at the exactsame hour. When you miss a pill just take two at the usual hour the next day....and yes, the day you vomited you missed that one too. As I said if you miss 1 you can take two the next day, but if you miss two you're screwed...so when this happens you should always use another method (like use condoms) until you start another period. I used to have set my mobile's alarm clock to sound everyday at the same time so I never forgot one.

There's always the possibility. I take Yasmin, and have for a long time. I had been on the pill for 5 yrs- but at the time was taking a diff. medication when i became preggo. I always take it every day... but still, the other medication prob interfered. So go take a test soon.... you could be pregnant. You never know, and the only way to reassure yourself is to take the EPT test- I took a generic meijer brand test, and the line showed up very light to where I could almost not see it!

So take the test! It'll tell you if you are or aren't- and if you are, stop taking your pills!

You should be okay, but you never know. I got pregnant on birth control before. Missing pills is a serious thing. That's why I switched to the Nuva Ring. You put it in leave it for three weeks, take it out for one week (week of period), and than put a new one in exactly 7 days after you took the old one out. You don't have to worry about missing pills and stuff like that.

Yes you should. That happened to me and I am 7 months pregnant. Once you miss a couple of pills you can ovulate during that time. You should have used an alternate form of birth control until you had your next period and then started a new pack. You may or may not be pregnant. Hope all goes well.

Since u missed it a little too early the odds are that u shouldnt get preg but anyway better 2 be on the safer side & use a backup method 4 the rest of the cycle &also test 4 preg if pds dont resume.Good luck.

If you ever skip a pill then you need to have protected sex for 7 days after starting the pills back up again.

I sometimes miss a pill and nothing happens, but my 3rd pregnancy was a result of a skipped pill so beware!

the puking could be from that, but i was on b.c for almost 2 years and i always missed pills and never got sick. but everyone is different. and if you had sex while you forgot it than ya you could be preggo. but you can go to the hospital and take a blood test because it can usually detect any signs of hormones do to pregnancy in about a week. but you might want to take another one in a couple weeks just to be on the safe side because, my friend took a bunch of different pregnancy tests and they were all negative, but now she is a mom lol. well good luck hun.

Yes. I was on the pill when I got pregnant with my last two children and I only missed one pill. If you miss any more pills use a back-up for seven days. I am forgetful so I use the Depo-Provera shot now. It's a lot less of a hassle.

The human body is very good at getting pregnant, and yes, missing a couple is all it takes. My ex missed one, it's 16 years ago and I still have regrets about the miscarriage that followed.

I would use protection for the rest of your cycle. It's a little too late for the "morning after" regimen of pills (similar drug as birth control pills).

Whenever you miss more than 1 pill, go to alternate protection the rest fo the month
