There are two mums who are best friends that come to a lot of the same playgroups that I do. They have 2 kids each and they are constantly shouting at them, threaghtening to smack them, making unreasonable demands and generally being horrible to their children. They seem to expect their toddlers to do everything perfectly and go mad when that obvioulsy doesnt happen. They never praise them, they are always picking at them for completely unimportant thingsd like their shoe has a scuff on -"Right thats it they're wrecked you stupid girl I only just bought them", and other such things.
My question is, is it any of my business that they do these things? Is what theyre doing against the law in any way or is it just strict parenting. Can I do anything? I feel really bad for these kids.

Why in the wolrd would parents coaches Beat up other parents AT a pee wee game. Such as football games when it is just for fun for the kids and at t ball games. WHY DO Parents loose there temper so much i see it all time and i am a parent i just can not understand why a parent or anyone would do something like this. The reason we put our kids in a sporting event is to show them sportmenship to show them how to follow rules and to have fun and to socialize them. Why do some parents take it beyond this when this even if they keep score SO what if they loose the kids tried there best as parents we need to teach them how to win and how to loose if their is score keeping and Also to teach them that if they win or loose it is how they played longs they did there best then they did a good job. TO the parents and others who loose their tempers at these events WHY what purpose does it bring. LOOK at what you are teaching your children and other children.

I know there are many questions like this, and mine probably isn't different, but I couldn't find one that asked exactly what I wanted to know. My child is a toddler. He cannot speak very well so i am judging by his actions that something is wrong. When he drinks milk he vomits. When he eats cheese and things to that sort he gets diarreah. The thing is i ahven't really been tracking this. I am not for sure it is each time he has the things that his stomach gets offset. Should I ask the doctor or wait until I know or sure since he is so young? Should i try giving him a glass of milk and seeing if he vomits? Is that cruel? Any suggestions or advice woul be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Do you agree that the 3's are much worse than the 2's. You always hear about the terrible 2's, but I have to say that I've had a much harder time with my little one since she turned 3 ---- I think it should be changed to the terrible 3's !!

Agree ??

My sister is 22 and just started to date a man and she wants to go to north carolina to meet his family without any children which I think is stupid. She is acting like a teenager. My mother is taking her 4 yr old daughter and my sister's ex fiancee is leaving with his family to atlantic city, I'm the only one close by. She wants me to take care of him, but I have a 2yr old and a 7 1/2 month old, I'm going to thanksgiving with my in laws. My husband hates my family because my father molested me and doesn't want anything to do with them. I don't think he will let me take care of my nephew who is 1 yr old. What to do? My sister refuses to take him.

how do I keep her safe, but have her active instead of in her crib and a playpen. I have a gated hexagon, that can keep her safe, but I have a 2 yr old with a listening problem and he likes to shake it.
