Do you agree that the 3's are much worse than the 2's. You always hear about the terrible 2's, but I have to say that I've had a much harder time with my little one since she turned 3 ---- I think it should be changed to the terrible 3's !!

Agree ??

I also didn't have too much trouble with my daughter until she was 3. Now that she's 4, it's started to calm down.

I'll always remember when Kelly Rippa (Regis and Kelly) called it the Terrible Two's and the God-Awful Three's. LOL!

I think the reason is that 3yo's tend to have more language skills and can argue more effectively. At three, they all seem like they're going to grow up to be defense attorneys.

I think so too . When my first son was 2 and was good I thought hey I can deal with this if this is the terrable 2's then he turned 3 and all heck broke loose. Now that he is 4 things have been better. My youngest is turning two so preparing myself for whats next to come terrable 2 or 3

Yes I have always said the 3's are worse then the 2's. It's starts just a few months BEFORE they turn 3 and it goes from there!

Yes, I agree with you. It is because two year olds are exploring their world. They want to experience everything. Wow, lights on the Christmas tree, what will happen if I pull on them sort of thing. Not rebellious behavior, exploratory behavior. Three's on the other hand are testing their limits and seeing how far you will let them go. They understand the rules, but know there are times when they can get away with more. "I know I'm not supposed to do this, but I'm gonna do it any way and see what she's going to do about it." And as hard as it is, if we are not consistent as parents, it will go on for the rest of their growing up years. My son will be four years old at the end of January. It has been quite the journey with him. I tell my husband as we both look at him when he's sleeping "Oh honey, I can't possibly stay mad at him when he looks like a little angel lying their curled up and staying out of trouble. The other part only comes out when he's awake ;)

My 1 year old is just everywhere all the time. My 3 year old is the sweetest boy, he is hardly bad and will do what i ask him. I'm counting the does till my 1 year old turns three. i don't think 3's are worse than 2's, I think almost 2's are the worst of all.

I will always be the same.. My daughter is 5 and she still throws fits like a 2 or 3 year old. It should be terrible everything. My husband is 30 and he is still throwing fits.

My little niece says that the terrible twos are bad but the nose-picking-threes are the worst!
