Scholastic.com is the BEST site for children's books. My daughter is almost 3 and is in 4 or 5 different book clubs. She doesnt know how to read yet, but she will spend hours and hours looking at every page of every book she owns. It's a wonderful thing for her to do, way better than sit in front of a TV all day, like most kids do.

I did find that the Dr. Seuss books are the most fun for me and my kids. They can be real tounge twisters. Fox in sox is my fav

My kids love 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed!! t's nice because they learn all the words so we all say it together it never gets old!

ANY BOOKS ARE GREAT. read read read. don't worrie about the actuall words until your kid is about four. as long as you are reading something to him it will be good for him. even if it is a book you like. reading is teaching. teach from left to right and top to bottom. good job
