Were not pregnant but we want another one soon and we are hoping for a boy. I love the name Levi, it was my great grandfathers name. Howvever my husband loves the name garrett. So we love the name levi garrett , but it also happens to be the name brand of a smokeless tabacco. Is this wrong to name your kid this. Open to any other suggestions for boy or girl names

He goes to be around 7 and falls asleep right away without a fuss. He has a nap of usually 1 1/2 to occassionally 3 hours every day. We tried putting him to bed later one night (at 8) and he woke up at 3! So we are now scared to put him to bed later. Any ideas?

I just found out my baby girl (she's 25) is pregnant she was going to wait until 30 but it happened and I am so happy but still always felt like she's still my baby. We love her and will support her emotionally through this but being the last and the one the whoel family doted on the past few years will she feel left out if we are to crazy about her baby. I have 5 other grandkids and Love them all to death but don't get to see them as often as I'd like my youngest has always joked that don't worry mom when i have a baby you can see them as much as you want especially when they need changed. ( I think she's joking about that one I know she will be a great mom) she lives close to us

My ally throughout this pregnancy has been information. I was one of those ppl that was never having kids; then I met my husband. I will be induced on Mon if I don’t have her before then, and I find myself having a hard time relaxing mentally, spiritually, and physically. So I’m curious, what are other mother’s feeling.
What are your fears of delivery; pain is obviously the big one, but what about the pain?
What are your fears after baby gets home?

This matter involves the Hague Petition, and thirteen countries that are in agreement with the US, to have childrn returned. The problem is really, my child was born in America, lived in France for 3 years, has dual citizenship, and now is considered French in France. It is based on habitual residency, not nationality. The situation is appaulling and slow to move. If you have a similiar experience to share, please do. There are currently 21 cases of international child custody in France involving the US. It is a new agreement only being signed into law in 1996. We have attorneys that specialize in this, but in France, we are in another ballpark. I have faith that it will work out, but considered posting something to see if there are others going through it as well... your feedback is welcomed.

What do you think of this situation: Sally lives in a 3 story apartment on the second floor with her two children (a toddler and a 6 month old). The laundry room is on the bottom floor. If Sally waits until her children are taking their naps is it ok for her to run downstairs for just a few minutes to wash and dry her clothing. Is this neglect? Tell me what you think. Her mother thinks that it is.
Also, the toddler sleeps in a secure bed with the door shut. He is just 2 so he still sleeps in a crib.
And, is this any different than having a two story house with the children upstairs and the laundry room down stairs? Thank you, Sally will appreciate any input. She really just wants her children to be clean and safe.

I am 24 and this is my first month trying to conceive. My periods are usually regular. I was waiting for my period to start on the 11th and it didn't start until the 13th. Will that mess the day I thought I would ovulate up because I went 30 days instead of 28 days? I usually have a 28 day cycle.

I really like to put some Baby Einstein music to my baby, but I notice that he moves a lot during some songs, could the sound be too loud? Could it be that he's just enjoying it?
What's your opinion?? :-)
Thanks!!

I got pregnant in June 2006. Had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. My husband and I are healthy, dr. said it was a one time occurance and that I will be fine next time. That was my first baby. Now I am pregnant again. I have heard that I should take baby aspirin, just in case. It prevents blood clotting. Is that true? I am just asking, will never take anything without consulting my dr.
Second question, what can be done if you have low HCG? Is there anything the dr. can give to increase the level? Anything I can do?

I've heard that 4 yrs is too much of a gap and that they probably won't be close. Is that true? Plus they're opposite genders. one boy and one girl. Does that decrease the chances of them having a close relationship?
