i named my daughter Raspberry for the first name and Lilac for her middle name. reason: when i found out that i was pregnant she was only the size of a raspberry and at that time they arent a boy or a girl so i got used to calling her raspberry when i talked to my tummy, lol.

We named our son Daniel because he was born on my birthday.. but didn't use my middle name... So he isn't a Jr...

We named our daughter Christina (meaning little Christ) because when the doctor broke my wife's water the baby came down with a prolapsed cord (wrapped around her neck). It was a small hospital on Thanksgiving weekend and it was just the Doctor, the nurse, me and my wife there... Although others were brought in eventually, it was touch and go for a while...

How would you react if the doctor (with his hand up your wife's private parts for over 1/2 hour to keep the baby from being strangled) called for a Doppler stethoscope to see if there was still a heart beat. Thankfully, he (and his brother who was called in) did an emergency Cesarean and our daughter made it...

I am not a very religious man but that day brought me closer.. Today, Christina is a very intelligent 8th grader who loves to read and wants to be a Forensic Scientist when she grows up.

Mine are adopted so we picked out middle names of Emily and Marina (Marina Sirtis is Star Trek's Troi) and the initials for Emily is KES (another Trek name). Strange but true.
Other girls in the family are named after grandmothers (Lillian and Rose and Hazel, it seems everthing "old" is new again. I've seen a surge of "Grace" in the past few years.
I love the name Zachary.

My 14 year old twins are Megan and Michael. I wanted "twin" sounding names and I like tradional names.....However, I am pregant again and this time my husband and I were looking for names that maybe reminded us of Vegas since we got married there 2 years ago and it's our fav place. We thought of all kinds of crazy ones ( Newton, Vegas, Elvis...etc. ) and then I came up with Sahara. We stayed at the Sahara Hotel when we got married.......now that we know it's a girl it is one of our choices. Maybe my suggestion will help you come up with a special one of your own. My husband got me a book from the library called, "So you named me what?" It's about celebrities and thier baby names..... maybe that will help. We decided Sahara will be the middle name and here is our other choices:
1. Charlotte (Charley for short)
2. Darla
3. Lila

1. Jayden
2. Brandon
3. Joseph

My daugther's name is Summer Ray. I thought of it as I was laying in the hospital bed because it was dead of winter outside and I just wanted it to be warm. Kinda corny but whatever. If I were to have another girl I would name her Winter May. And if I were to have a boy it would probably be Owen James.

Our oldest is Jacob, named after Jacob whose name was changed to Israel, father of the tribes of Israel.

Our only daughter is Hannah. Derived from dh and I both having grandmothers named Anna.

Number 3 is Isaac because God gave us his name. It means "he laughs" and Isaac is quite hammy!

The 4th is Zachariah, Zach for short. It means "remembered by God". We had a difficult labor and had to go in for a c-section. While sitting in OR to get the epidural, the placenta completely separated. I was hemorhaging severly and they knocked me out to take him ASAP. He was resussitated and is now doing wonderfully. He was truly remembered by God, we would have lost him had we not been sitting in the OR when it happened!

I named my first son Aaron after his father. I named my second son Samuel because it was a traditionally good name I thought. If I would of had a girl I was going to name her Izabella, I think it's pretty.
