I got pregnant in June 2006. Had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. My husband and I are healthy, dr. said it was a one time occurance and that I will be fine next time. That was my first baby. Now I am pregnant again. I have heard that I should take baby aspirin, just in case. It prevents blood clotting. Is that true? I am just asking, will never take anything without consulting my dr.
Second question, what can be done if you have low HCG? Is there anything the dr. can give to increase the level? Anything I can do?

talk to your doctor before you use any medication prescription or over the counter and that includes medicinal creams and ointments. Don't trust any advise on this site involving medications I'm nurse and wouldn't give you harmfull advice but there are others who might. Call and talk to your doctors nurse about all your pregnancy questions. Best of luck on a healthy baby.

I have to take a baby aspirin Vitamins B-12, B-6 and folic acid for the blood clots. So the baby aspirin IS TRUE along with other vitamins. There is nothing the doctor can do about a low HCG level I KNOW that one I asked before when I was preg. then miscarried shortly after.
Although you should talk to your Dr. because the folic acid ex...was all proscribe to me.
