Pregnancy & Parenting - 16 November 2006

Me and my ex-boyfriend had protected sex (with a condom) on September 28th. The next day, I got my period, right on schedule. It is now November 17th and I am two weeks late. (I should have gotten my period at the end of October) In the past, I have been late getting my period many times and especially after having sex! (I have sex maybe once every two or three months and each time I do, my period comes late) Could I be pregnant? Or could I just be late? I know stress can cause it to be late.. and during this time I was stressing over boys, and just moved to a new house. I was also sick about 2-3 weeks ago. Are my hormones just adjusting to this or am I pregnant? My breasts feel bigger and a little tender (I usually get this when I am going to have my period) and I have been having headaches (only two days) and feeling tired. Which are also normal for me when I am going to get my period. Please help!

I just dont want her to get aids or something. She's determined. I tried suggesting to at least go to a sperm bank or whatever you call them. How can I convince her not to go through with this?

I have taken two tests, one faint postive, one postive postive both were different brands one Eqaute the other First Reponse. One on the 10th of the month and the other on the 14th. My breasts hurt but not as bad as some women describe sometimes worse than other times though cant really jog up stairs or anywhere without holding them etc. I have mild cramping for the past week. Ive only gotten dizzy once, and felt repelled by the smell of one of my favorite foods once. Went to the health department they said that 2 wks of everything doesnt count according to them right now I would be 3 wks pregnant. Also I dont know if this is a sign but Im usually burping my food after I eat I can just smell it on my breath its kinda gross sorry I know TMI....Also, Im extra thirsty and have to pee a lot!....What do you think, what are the chances my body is tricking me and lying? LOL...Im just nervous that a blood test is going to be negative..thanks guys

It is 3am, and I have been having contractions since 11:30pm. I havent been timing them with a watch but they have been close together. I have walked, and they are still the same, they actually get closer together when I walk, and Ive even had sex twice in last few hours and still having contractions. Havent had and bloody show, or my water hasnt broke yet either. When should I call the doc? In a way I dont want to wait to long, because when I go in I have to be treated for GBS, asap. Because I had it with my first child and it was almost fatal with him. Any options? I dont want to go in and it be false labor with waking my 3yr old up. But would it be false with having contractions this long?

Ive been married for one year and i want a baby. He always uses a condom and i always dont take my pills. (but he doesnt know)

just asking, i read many books, articles, etc. but every source is kinda different. just wondering, if a girl wears an underwear with a small panty liner pad and the guy wear a boxer with a cargo pants and do dry humping.

There's some type of UFC fight going on this weekend that I REALLY want to go to. But I'm 6 months pregnant and a few of my boyfriend's friends are concerned about me going... saying something about the noise and all that. My friend just had a baby a month ago, but when she was pregnant we used to go to this one place where our boyfriends' cousin performed with his band - loud music and all...yet, her baby turned out healthy and gorgeous. I really want to go this weekend because I always watch these fights on tv but never got to see one in person. I don't know... what do you guys think?

My son has rarely slept on his own since he was born.
He's very sensitive and seems to wake up the second I put him down, day or night. Once in awhile he'll sleep, but never for even an hour. I love holding him and he's happy and fun when he's awake, but I worry about his safety when I fall asleep with him.

Hi, its like this, my gf gave me a handjob, after that i went to the bathroom because i had to clean up but i didn't wash my hands thoroughly, i just "rinsed" it with water. After that we watched tv together for 20mins, and then i fingered her with the same hand that had some sperm on earlier. Before i fingered her my fingers felt dry. The time duration from the handjob that she gave me to the time i fingered her was +-20 - 30mins.

my vision has really deteriorated since the birth of my baby by cesearean, i have been to have them tested and my eyesight is the same as it was. he said i could be seeing blurred due to a drop in hormones or a condition called 'dry eye' which occurs for a few weeks after pregnancy. in my 7th and 8th week after the birth i have noticed it more im so scared i wont return back to normal. has anyone else had this problem please help!

She throws bad tantrums over everything... when we ask her to clean up her mess or do chores even when we all do them together, has no focus during homework even when we sit with her. Yesterday was very cold outside and she refused to dress for the weather and started screaming and crying. The teachers asked her to put ski pants on and she layed on the floor crying. She doesn't like to be told what to do and I don't allow her to get away with this behaviour, I send her to her room and take away her toys. My bf has been lenient in the past but has started enforcing more dicipline now. But it obviously isn't enough and her tanturms are getting worse. We've had a noise complaint in our apartment because of her screaming her head off at 7:30am

Maybe is too early but still.My period is due on 22/23 Nov.
