Are you working with a Lactation Consultant or a La Leche League Leader? One on one in person help would be good for you in this situation. A LLL Leader will help you for FREE.

You can try dropper or syringe feeding to get baby started. Have someone stand over your shoulder while trying to latch and see if dripping milk down your nipple helps any.

Make sure you are pumping to establish supply!

Have you spoken with any professionals about this? I had to search out options with the nurse caring for my baby. We thought my little one would not drink/suck for the first 24 hours. We found that it was the nipples that were being given, they were too big for her mouth. We tried several kinds until we found the right ones....
Might be it...might not...just a thought

Best of luck!

If your baby can't suck; he or she can't eat. Does this tell you anything?? You need to take them to the hospital!
