It is 3am, and I have been having contractions since 11:30pm. I havent been timing them with a watch but they have been close together. I have walked, and they are still the same, they actually get closer together when I walk, and Ive even had sex twice in last few hours and still having contractions. Havent had and bloody show, or my water hasnt broke yet either. When should I call the doc? In a way I dont want to wait to long, because when I go in I have to be treated for GBS, asap. Because I had it with my first child and it was almost fatal with him. Any options? I dont want to go in and it be false labor with waking my 3yr old up. But would it be false with having contractions this long?

I must have missed something...

Having (and I guess) enjoying sex during contractions.
Haven't been timing them (contractions) with a watch
Have to be treated for GBS.
When should I call the doctor ?
Walked and they (the contractions) are still the same but they get closer when you walk (?)

Have sex 'til the water breaks, take two aspirin and call the doctor in the morning when the 3 year old wakes up. Everybody's happy.

You definitely need to time your contractions. I waited until mine were 3 minutes apart but according to Dr. recommendations they prefer you wait until they are 5 minutes apart. You may not have bloody show and your water may not break. Every woman is different. My suggestion is to call your doctor only when your contractions are 5 minutes apart. That should give you ample time to get to the hospital and be treated and prepped for delivery. Good luck and congratulations!!!!

get your self sorted and go to the hospital as soon as poss. You have had a child before so you know the signs, you have also had GBS and you know the problems that it can cause,it,s my guess that you are in early labor, better safe than sorry,Isay you are in Early labor because if you were in full labor you would NOT be messing around on the computer,Good luck hope it goes well for you.

I might desire to have left out something... Having (and that i wager) taking part in intercourse contained in the time of contractions. have not been timing them (contractions) with a watch might desire to be dealt with for GBS. while might desire to I call the wellbeing practitioner ? Walked they oftentimes (the contractions) are nonetheless the comparable even with the undeniable fact that they get closer mutually as you walk (?) Have intercourse 'til the water breaks, take 2 aspirin and touch the wellbeing practitioner interior the morning mutually as the three year historic wakes up. all of us's happy.

If you need to be treated for GBS, don't worry about waking your three-year old. You need to go.

It doesn't sound like false labor, and you really don't want to take the chance that it's not. Go. No one will be upset if you do. :)

Good luck and congrats.

You are giving birth, lady. And if you have already had another child, chances are this one will come more quickly. Call the doctor NOW and go to the hospital.

second babies come faster so waiting till the last minute is stupid...you should already have discussed when to call with your doctor. if your boyfriend is through using you, you might ask him to drive you down to the hospital, if he can't wait, you could use one of the stretchers in the emergency room or a chair in the waiting room..ps. he may have to wait until the baby is born, so line up another receptacle for him to use...

I'd just go in. Seems better to be safe than sorry. They could be braxton hicks, but...it doesn't sound like it.
